PRINTING ENVELOPES ON CANON MP620: It's simple, and you simply do two things:
1. In your word processing software, select 'letter size envelope' as your document size.
2. In the Canon MP 620 there is an auxiliary paper feeder at the rear of the printer -- open it. WHEN you have paper in it, it functions as the default paper feeder (instead of the internal paper trays). So place the envelope right-side-up in the feeder & adjust the gray holders to the envelope's size. Then click Print.

Hi. since many printers are different in their functions from one another, without being in front of the machine it is somewhat hard to discribe the process on your particular machine. I have found a couple of links for you, and it may help solve your problem. This is all assuming you do not have the original documentation for your printer. First is the getting started manual in pdf format (you need the free adobe acrobat reader for this, which can be obtained by doing a search on "acrobat reader" on your favorite search engine) for your particular machine here: javascript:wssPopupWindow('http://gdlp01.c-wss.com/gds/8/0300001548/02/MP620_GS_EN-US_V1.pdf',%20'MP620_GS_EN-US_V1.pdf') The next is an onscreen manual for your computer, which you would install as a program on your computer for very detailed help for your particular machine. It is here: http://www.usa.canon.com/consumer/controller?act=ModelInfoAct&fcategoryid=238&modelid=17406#DownloadDetailAct Give these a try, and it should tell you everything you need to know in order to print your envelopes. Hope this helps.

HP Photosmart Premium c309a series smudging wedding invitation envelopes badly. I can print the invitations and everything else just fine. Any suggestions? Thank you.

when you go to print your envelope and click the print command - a window will open with the name of your printer and a box that says properties. click on properties. Change the type of envelope stock to match what you are printing on in the next window. If you are using photo paper envelope with a glossy finish, make sure that is the print media you have set for your printer. If not, the ink will just keep smudging. it's very important to match the print stock (matte, glossy, premium ect).

How to print envelopes

1.Buy envelopes at any office supply store. They come in all shapes, sizes, textures and colors, so choose ones that go with the type of invitation you are sending out.

2.Open Microsoft Word 2007 and click on the Mailings tab.

3.Click on Envelopes in the Create section.

4.Click on the Envelopes tab when the Envelopes and Labels box comes up. The box will probably come up with the Envelopes tab open, so you may not need to do this.

5.Enter the recipient's address in the Delivery Address box. Invitation envelopes should include the names of everyone invited--for example: Mr. and Mrs. Smith, Mrs. Smith and family. Don't worry about the font at this point--you can change it later.

6.Enter your return address in the Return Address box. As with the Delivery Address, you can change the font later.

7.Click on Options. Use the drop-down menu in the Envelope Options tab to change the size of the envelope if needed. The packaging of the envelopes that you purchased will have information about the size of the envelopes. It is very important that you choose the correct size so that the envelopes print correctly.

8.Adjust the font of the delivery and return addresses. Click on Font in each section and change the font style or size. You can also bold, italicize or choose other options regarding the font.

9.Adjust the placement of the delivery and return addresses on the envelopes. In each section, click the arrows in the "From left" or "From top" boxes. In the preview section below, you can see the movement of the addresses as you adjust the placement. Line up everything so that it looks good to you.

10.Click on the Printing Options tab. This is important because you must select how you feed the envelopes into your printer. Choose the correct way that they are fed, whether they are fed into the printer face up or face down, and if they should be fed in manually. This will all depend on your specific printer. Consult your owner's manual for this information if you are unsure. Click OK and you will return to the Envelopes and Labels box.

11.Insert the envelopes into your printer. Click Print once you have everything formatted and arranged how you want. You should print one envelope first to make sure the layout is correct. Once you've confirmed it printed correctly, print all your envelopes.

Need to print a half-fold card envelope with HP Photosmart C4480

I'm printing wedding invitation envelopes (or A6) and had to set both my C4480 and psc1315 to a regular size 8.5x11 letter size but changed my margins to reflect the smaller size for my envelope with the left side of the screen being the more narrow margin. After adjusting the top margin accordingly, I fed the envelopes, flap side down and straight into the printer and voila...envelope addresses are printed. Good luck. Blu

How to print an envelop

nstructions Use the following steps to ensure that you are ready to print envelopes. Your printer can have either a single envelope or multiple envelopes loaded and ready for printing.
  • If you are printing a single envelope, you can use the single envelope slot and leave your paper in the lower (IN) tray. This allows you to print the envelope and then a letter.
  • If you are printing a stack of envelopes, use the lower (IN) tray for loading the stack of envelopes.
To Load a Single Envelope
  1. Do not remove the paper from the lower (IN) tray. Be sure the card guide is in the down position, before using the single envelope slot.
  2. Remove a single envelope from its packaging.
  3. Slide the envelope evenly into the single envelope slot. The single envelope slot is located on the right side of the upper (OUT) tray. The envelope should be loaded with the address side down (flap side up).
  4. Make sure the creased flap edge of the envelope aligns with the right side of the single envelope slot.
  5. Slide the envelope through the slot until it stops. Make sure the envelope is not bent and is straight in the envelope slot.
NOTE: To minimize print skew, use envelopes with rectangular flaps rather than triangular flaps.
To Load Multiple Envelopes
  1. Slide the paper width adjuster to its leftmost position.
  2. Pull out the paper length adjuster and remove any paper from the IN tray.
  3. Remove up to 20 envelopes from their packing and tap the short edge of the envelopes on a flat surface to even the stack.
  4. Slide the envelopes evenly into the IN tray, address side down (flap side up).
  5. Slide the paper width adjuster to the right until it gently touches the left edge of the envelope stack.
  6. For size Invitation A2 and C6 Envelopes, press the inside of the paper length adjuster handle to release and lower it.
  7. For all sizes of envelopes, push the paper length adjuster in toward the envelopes until it stops. Make sure the envelopes are flat in the lower tray and not bent.
Set up the Printer Properties
  1. Select Start on the taskbar. Choose Settings, then Printers. Right-click the printer. Select Properties from the pop-up menu.
  2. Select the Paper or Setup tab depending on the version of the printer driver software.
  3. In the Paper Options section, select the desired envelope size from the Paper Size drop-down box.
  4. Click OK.
Print Print the envelope from your chosen program. From most applications, just select the File menu, then choose Print. After Printing the Envelopes Reset the printer and the printer properties for the kind of printing you will be doing next.
  1. Remove any remaining envelopes from the lower (IN) tray.
  2. Slide the paper width adjuster to its leftmost position.
  3. Load the desired paper into the lower (IN) tray.
  4. On the computer, Select Start on the taskbar. Choose Settings, then Printers. Right-click the printer. Select Properties from the pop-up menu.
  5. Select the Paper or Setup tab depending on the version of the printer driver software.
  6. In the Paper Options section, select the desired paper size from the Paper Size drop-down box.
  7. Click OK.

Paper Jam inside the printer Lexmark 5470

Firstable, you need to remove these pieces of paper from your printer. It is possible just removing a part of the printer located in the back or the bottom of it. Then you need to know that if you want to print on an envelop, it's necessary to format the printing settings. Just go to printing format and choose envelop
and also the dimensions of the envelop you want to print, then after this it'll be simple.

Hi kingwa55,

I have an hp photosmart c4480 and was having the same problem printing wedding invitations. Same size 5.5"x8.5'. Im not sure if this will work on your printer, but this is what I had to do.

Click on Print, then Properties, then features.
About half way down there is a drop down box under sizing options.
Click on custom
Create a name, and put your width and height in.
Click Save and then OK
Completely X out of the print options.
Then Click
File, print, properties, features, click the drop down box under sizing options.
Click more and scroll to the bottom and it should be there.

If your options are different then mine, I'm sorry for wasting your time.
