If the dishwasher still runs except for the breaker popping part way through the wash, I would first suspect the heat element in the bottom of the tub. First, visually inspect the element to see if there are any obvious signs of it being burned out. If there are no outward signs, then the element needs to be checked at its terminals with a multimeter to see if it's shorted internally. If it is still not shorted, it should be showing in the vicinity of 14 to 20 ohms of resistance across the terminals for it to heat properly.

Hello,

Sounds like the main wash pump has burnt out are there any leaks under unit.It could also be the heater.but the loud pop sounds more like the wash pump.

Dryer stopped working. Not spinning or anything

You will be needing someone with an electric meter, (an ohm meter or a multi-meter) to begin testing to find out if it is the dryer or the power source.
The one thing you could do is check the fuse panel or the circuit breaker box to see if a circuit breaker popped or a fuse blew.
The circuit breaker can be reset by flipping the handle a few times, a fuse would need replacement.
Other than that, an electric meter will tell if the plug socket is live or dead, and then the machine needs be taken apart to see which part has failed. Usually a fuse or a thermo-switch has popped inside the machine.
God bless your efforts.

Wash cycle repeating

Hello Dave Powers - Try reprogramming the dishwasher by unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. Wait approximately ten minutes and restart unit. Run a normal cycle, if issue continues then it sounds like it is experiencing a wiring failure or a communication error with the control/keypad. Consult a professional to move forward accurately.

Press the Delay Start button several times until the displayed delay start time is cleared or reads "00". Unplug the machine or flip the circuit breaker to the OFF position for at least half an hour or so to forcibly reset the control if pressing the Delay Start button does not alter or clear the displayed delay start time.

Loud pop, now circut breaker flips off when I turn on the machine

HI
A loud pop can be a couple of things. Usually it is a ruptured hose, or a hose the has separated from its keeper.. This can explain why it is you are popping the circuit breaker. Water is spraying on an electrical circuit, and causing the short. The other thing that pops is when you blow the circuit board but then you would have a burnt smell.

Dishwasher is "tripping" the breaker & not draining.

I had the same problem with a Hobart AM8 passthru dishwasher. The electrician determined that some of the wires had become exposed and were wet, thus shorting things out and tripping the breaker.

I self cleaned my Amana oven model acf7225aw. During the cleaning there was a huge pop and then all power was shut off to the oven (no power to clock or anything). We flipped the breaker- another pop. ...

Yes you probably have a burned out bake or broil element in the oven. They usually short out to the frame when they go and can have some interesting results. A direct short probably burned out half of the circuit breaker and you are now only getting 120 volts to the stove and its feeding back through the shorted element and giving some heat. Unplug the stove reset the circuit breaker and test the outlet for proper power. Outer holes will read 220 volts to each other and 110 volts to the middle hole. Replace the circuit breaker if needed. Usually when an element burns out it is visible. If not remove both bake and broil elements and take them to the parts store and ask them to see which one is bad. It is very unlikely they both burned out.
