I don't know much about Brooksville 6736025 but if it is like most other brands, the lift rod is a pretty thing that shows connected to a not so pretty rod or piece of metal that does not show. I would look to see if there is a not so pretty piece that can replaced with a longer not so pretty piece.

SOURCE: water leaking at handle when turned on

1- Hanldle may have a cap that will come off to access screw to loosen or allen screw on the handle to remove it.
First thing you can check remove handle and make sure the nut that holds stem down is not loose. You can tighten it and try this first just replace handle turn on and check for leaks.

If not please go to step 2 in removal of stem

2- Cut water off and remove handle to gain access to stem. Next remove stem by untighting nut at the base. Remove stem and replace o rings on stem about middle of it. That will stop water from leaking at the base.

SOURCE: the shank of the faucet

A lot of the faucet manufactures have not kept up with the new counter top innovations out there so I would say you need to pick out a new faucet that has an extended shank. Short of counter sinking the hole from the bottom of the sink top the above is your only out.

The lift rod for my tuscany brooksville faucet is too short

If you are talking about the lift rod that opens and closes the sink drain stopper, then this is adjustable by moving a clamp on the rod. If the drain does open far enough then move the clamp.

Delta faucet will not hold water

The linkage to the drain stopper has to be adjusted so that the stopper seats when the rod is raised. If the stopper lifts out of the drain, it may be necessary to remove the lifter rod and insert it through the holes in the bottom of the stopper then reinstall. After this, pulling up on the faucet rod will force the stopper to seat rather than drop by gravity. The tradeoff is that you will not be able to remove the stopper without disassembly of the connection

I have a glacier bay 7032e-b6104 two handle bath room faucet. i just finished installing and water is leaking underneath from the middle of the three holes where the lift rod is. what's wrong??? tony

Sounds like you have a defective faucet. I'm guessing this is a new faucet and there shouldn't be any water leaking from between the faucet and the counter top. All the fitting above the counter top are factory fittings.

The only possibility I can think of is that if you didn't use a back up wrench when you installed it and you twisted the factory installed lines too far while tightening the water supply line to the faucet, you could have broken a weld on the faucets supply line where it is connected inside the faucet.

I just want to be sure I place the sink properly into the new countertop. Are there certain distanced from the back or front I should be aware of? I have an Eljer tile-in bathroom sink, model 052-0317. 21...

The most critical dimension is the clearance between the backsplash (wall side) and the sink as you want to ensure that there is room for whatever faucet set you've selected. Typically you want to leave 4 1/2 to 5" between the rear of the sink and the backsplash for the faucet but that's not critical as long as you leave sufficient space for it. A typical bathroom countertop is 22" deep so your large sink will be close fit. Now, if the faucet mounts through holes in the sink itself you can just center it.

I cant not get the pop up drain to move smoothly

Take it apart, clean it, lub the ball on the linkage, then reinstall it. If that is not the problem try ajusting the lift rod linkage where it connects together.

Seperate a granite tile backsplash from an existing countertop

the back splash should be held on by silicone or glue very seldom are they screwed on i would bet it is stuck with adhesive silicone so score around the outside of the splash with a utility knife the remove it scoring around the outside will prevent sheet rock damage
