Question about Office Equipment & Supplies
Workes fine with XP - but no drivers for windows 8. It's also out of ink - so should I just replace instead of fixing? Printer is 8 years old.
This is the hell with the big windows 8 upgrade. Most software that you own and most equipment will not work with windows 8. I would contact the printer manufacturer and verify if it can or cannot be used with window 8 before getting rid of the printer. They may have the answer for you on the printer manufacturers web site as well.

I have the same Printer and it works great in Windows XP Pro, so maybe you need to check their website for updated printer drivers...? My Printer is the HP Deskjet 1120C Professional Series Printer, that's the full name so I guess its the same printer...can print up to 13x19 inches....I've used the heck out of mine and it just now developed a problem where it won't pull the paper in from the front, but believe it or not I can load one sheet at a time from the back....

The driver for this printer comes with Windows 7. Use the "Add a Printer" wizard from Win 7 to install. After that, it should print fine.
