Testimonial: "Thanks for the reply, feeding was the first thing to check and verify without encountering problems, if searching the internet I found a forum where Australian Electronic similar problems arose and the solution turned out they raised me right, the problem is in the filter 455khz this polarized and must wear a dc decoupling capacitor curiously solve the problem, between the leg 5 and the filter TK83361 I figure it's a design problem or quality of the filter as it seems that many teams have the same circuit uniden and almost all are arranged in this way Best regards."

SOURCE: not receiving information
The same thing happened to me, and I'm just hitting the two-year mark with this thing. I tested it using the aux speaker leads and that still works. So it is only the little front-panel speaker that is broken. And I checked the leads on that little speaker, and they seem fine. So it is the little speaker itself that broke. Easiest repair is to connect the aux leads (red and brown) to another speaker.

It sounds like your speaker has failed. I would recommend replacing the speaker. You can take the radio to a marine electronics repair shop for the repair and it should be about $75 - $100. If you have any other problems please email me: firstname.lastname@example.org. You can always send it to me and we can repair it at my shop.

SOURCE: When connecting a GPS to
In order for the radio to send these received coordinates back to your Garmin GPS automatically, a NMEA out line on your Radio and a NMEA IN line on your Garmin GPS would have to be connected. The Garmin has this line. The Uniden does not. So, in order to see where these received coordinates are on your GPS, you would have to manually enter them in the GPS as a waypoint and display the waypoint. Without this NMEA out connection, the radio can not send the data to the GPS, which is why you will not see any DSC calls on your GPS call log.
