I have a neptune MAH-4000AWW washer, the door locked light does not eluminate, and the clothes do not get dried durning the spin cycle, it never reaches full spin speed. It just started with both these issues, so I'm wondering if they are related, and how to go about fixing them.

Re: I have a neptune MAH-1 washer, the door locked
If you remove the back console, youll be able to see the "machine controlboard". appro. ha;f way down and favoring the left side of circuit board youll notice a small blue relay cover(MAYBE 3/8"X1/2" in size. well just above that relay cover you see a resistor that will be physically burnt out( a real noticable burn ring around it) if this is the case you need to replace the board as well as the "wax motor" within the latch assy.

Hope your filter is clean. Don’t wait for the

You can use Affresh to clean your front loader. Deposits of soap and
things can be stuck around the inside tub of your washer. Try this
works great on all front loaders. Use very hot water with the Affresh
with no clothes and run the machine through a cycle. Also helps with any
stagnant water smells. Put the Affresh
pellet inside the machine, not in the soap dispenser.

d5 is a door lock error code, more than likely a bad door latch it's an easy repair, here is a link to the Neptune repair manual this the Mah 3000 but they all come apart the same way the only real difference was in the control panel and the door latch in yours uses a solenoid to lock instead of a wax motor
Is it pumping water? If not then pump is bad.
Is the door locking? If the door will not lock, the washer will not enter a spin mode. See if the lock light is lite on the console.
Check for continuity across the Door Lock, Spin Enable Switch when the switch actuator button is pressed in. If there is no continuity across the Door Lock, Spin Enable Switch, replace the Door Lock Switch Assembly.(Check for 120 vac across the Door Lock Wax Motor)
Please rate this solution and ask for further clarifications if needed.
I am having the same problem, and have found that the door lock light is not on, and that the door lock does not seem to be working. This would keep the machine from spinning.
Is your door lock light on?
