You can't boot from an mp3 player. Interesting idea though.

LAPTOP WANTS TO BOOT BUT STOPS

Hi,

Could be a number of possibilities:
  • video card;
  • driver(s);
  • virus/malware;
  • corrupted OS files;
  • defective sectors in HD.
Initially, pls try booting into "Safe Mode".

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards. Thank you for using FixYa.

Asus a6 series notebook problem

After pressing the power button to boot up your unit, immediately tap (just keep on tapping it) the F2 to go in to bios and set your boot priority.
Try tapping F12 to load boot menu and bootit from the disc but I'm not sure if it is the same as Toshiba laptops.

Hope this helps
