Picture breaks up on lower half of screen
From what I can tell reading about this problem it is probably a component on the main circuit board inside the monitor. If you are handy with a soldering iron and have a clue about capacitors, power supplies etc. you can fix this problem yourself. If you do not have any experience in this area, an electronics repair shop will charge you $45-$90 to fix it. The monitor new is ~$99.00.
