Burners n broiler lite up fine, oven will not .... pilot out?

Does it have electronic ignition or pilot. You don't say. Check the thermocouple. That is usually why most ovens fail even when overhead broiler works. The Thermocouple is a probe that heats up either by pilot or igniter and turns the gas on when it reaches the proper temperature. You can sometime take a little steel wool and clean off the probe..sometimes that will do it. Make certain you are cleaning the thermocouple and not the thermostat probe.. Thermocouples are right near the burner itself. If that does not work you will need a new one.. some screw out and can be replaced.. others may be sealed to the gas manifold. You will then have to call a repair man to replace it.

Oven wont lite. broiler is ok. why? is this something i can fix myself?

Hello- Gas ranges have ignitors that light the burners. The lower burner is accessable by removing bottom pan in oven. Ignitor is held in place by two screws. Connector is plugged in behind bottom drawer. Check resistance of ignitor - should be 4ohms or higher. Sometimes they just break. New part available thru local app. parts. 50-75$. Be careful installing new part- ceramic ignitors are fragile. Take your time- toughest part is reaching in to do work. Hope this helps.- Thanks- ED

Broiler doesn't lite, no gas going to pilot

Most cases Broiler ignitor is out, after you turn on the Broiler, check the voltage on Broiler ignitor 2 wires, if you have approx. 110v, then change the ignitor, but you don't have 110v, then check Broiler safety valve and oven thermostat, but 90% of the time is the Broiler ignitor. Have fun.

Oven burner seems to have low flame

Check voltage to gas valve in the back of the boiler compartment. It is way in the back on the left hand side, turn on the top burners. If you do not get any volts or only 1 to 5 volts you will need to replace, It is supposed to have 24 volts to operate correctly

Viking pro. gas range/oven leaks when all knobs turned off

check both oven ignitor and broiler by turning the oven first, and time the time that the ignitor takes before the flame lights up, it should not take more then 60 to 70 seconds, and do the same to the broiler.the one that takes the longer passing that mark of the 70 seconds needs replacing it 's not getting hot enough to light the burner on time that's the one that passes gas with out igniting. replace that one.

Amana oven not working and boiler also

Check the oven sensor it may be the problem. Also check the lock assembly. When in self clean does your bake come on too? It should come on with the broiler.
