It is possible that the condenser coils are located in the side wall panel. This is fairly normal is small refrigerators.

We have a Samsung Silver Nano Health System Fridge/Freezer. The outer skin is very warm. Is this normal.??

FRIDGE COILS or door walls SEEM VERY HOT:

The condenser coils do get hot. They can even be to hot to comfortably touch and this is normal.

The refrigerator should not run constantly but shut off with each defrost cycle.

Running constantly and never cycling off can indicate a cooling problem.

One thing to try is to wait till it has been running a few minutes then open the door and turn your cycling thermostat towards the off position. It should cycle off before getting to the off position on the dial.

If it does not cycle off then it's not getting cold enough to satisfy the thermostat. This is likely the reason the refrigerator runs all the time.

A thermometer in a glass of water can be used to check the temperatures in the refrigerator section.

You can check that all fans are running.

the reason the outer side of the door seal area is getting hot is the compressor is over heating, probably the condenser fan motor to your compressor is bad.
It should be a little warm but not hot. they don't use heaters anymore ( some older models still use heaters) around the doors, instead they use the condenser coils to remove condensation and moister, you might want to check your condenser coils on the bottom or back of fridge to see if they need cleaning
If the condenser coils/condenser fan are all plugged up they need cleaning and/or the condenser may fail or has failed..

The ones that use an electric heater will have an "energy saver" switch that will turn it off.: God is the reason I give you free advice so God is good!

My Fridge is getting very warm at random times on the sides and it keeps making a popping sound randomly. What do I do?

Hi Meagan, is the fridge getting warm on the exterior walls? If so, make sure condenser coil at bottom of refrigerator is clean. Some heat s normal, but not hot.

Freezer has warm spots. All around freezer is hot to the touch. Compressor is hot, coils are clean, condensor fan is running.

Thats normal.

The condenser coils are located just inside of your exterior cabinet walls on the sides and top.

So the freezer gets cold inside and heat has to be released from the condenser coils.
If this is something new, you may have a problem with the defrost timer

Sides and front getting very hot seeming like the hot air stuck somewhere

They do tend to get warm but if it is excessively hot, the fan may not be working.

The samsung website offers questions and answers and offers good support.

As quoted from the site: -

It is normal for the exterior of your refrigerator to feel warm. There are heater pipes located throughout the refrigerator cabinet which periodically heat up to reduce condensation on the refrigerator's exterior walls. If your refrigerator is located in a damp, humid place, such as a garage or porch, this occurs more frequently.
However, if your exterior refrigerator walls are excessively hot, for example, too hot to touch comfortably, your refrigerator may have a problem and needs to be evaluated by a technician. Why does it get hot on the front and the sides it never did that before

If the food is at normal temperature, then what you are describing is normal.
On a chest freezer the condenser coils are embedded in the outer walls, as the evaporator coils are embedded in the inner walls to provide cooling.

This is the very basic principle of refrigeration. One set of coils (the condenser) are allowed to get hot, so the other set of coils
(the evaporator) can get cold.

When the unit is not running, which is most of the time, the walls will cool to room temperature.

This is normal. The refrigerant lines run through the sides and get hot.

Hot refrigerator

There are 2 or 3 things that would cause this. first make sure the condenser coils are not plugged with dust (vacumn or blow them out) next check to make sure the fan that cools these coils is running, (this is the most likely problem). if both of these check out ok then you would need to check to make sure your interior lights ar going off when the doors are closed as these will add extra heat and cause the center rails to run hot. last and most uncommon would be a freon system problem.

fyi there is a hot gas freon line that runs in between the doors to prevent exterior sweating. when poor or no air flow problems for the condenser coil exist it causes this area to become hotter.
One more thing. if you do determine that the condenser fan motor is bad you can put a normal house fan blowing on to the coil to help cool this area down until you can get the unit repaired.
If you need any further assistance leave me a comment here and I'll gladly get back to you. Thanks Peyton

Refridgerator top freezer exterior wall hot

Hi.........
Folow these steps. It's worth a try.
1.Pull the fridge out from the wall and unplug it.
2. Clean the dust and lint off the compresser and everything else.
3. Also clean under the fridge.
4. The frame around the freezer door should cool down.

If the cooling fan was stuck , that may also be a cause for your refrigerator wall becoming hot.Check that too.
Hope My info is useful....Bye
