Question about LG AN-MR300Q Remote Control AKB73597001
We have had this remote for about 2 years. It frequently freezes and we cannot use it at all. Battery changes help initially or taking them out and putting them back in help for a bit. What other information do you need to help? Thank you, Sara McCue firstname.lastname@example.org
It may be that the battery terminals in the remote are not making good contact with the batteries. Make sure the terminals do not have corrosion on them. If there is any corrosion, especially on the flat terminals ( where the positive side of the battery goes) , clean the terminal(s) with a little rubbing alcohol on a cotton swab. The terminals should be shinny. If they are not, first scrape them with a small flat screw driver or anything that will fit, a small knife tip, etc. Then clean with cotton swab. Also make sure the terminals are making good contact with the batteries. The batteries should fit tight. Again, with anything that will fit, try to gently pry the flat terminals out a bit. Hope this works for you!!!!!!!!!!
