Question about Samsung RF265AA Bottom Freezer French Door Refrigerator
Samsung RF261BEAEBC refrigerator with internal water dispenser... the water dispenser started sticking (water would remain on after glass was removed) and sometimes not working. We took the little rubber thing off the front and the button fell out. It was not attached anymore. How do I put it back on so we can dispense water once again? The water works if we hold the little switch in the wall with our finger, but it is very awkward.

He Alisonki! I was having the same problem. On mine the water coil inside the refrigerator keeps freezing which keeps the water from circulating and my refridge won't stay cold. I was told by one repairman that it was a computer problem and you have to order parts from the Samsung Manufactuer which takes about 2 - 3 weeks to get. I am tossing mine and buying a more reliable brand. One repairman came yesterday and left without fixing anything or charging me. Larry

Change your water filter, you should change your filter at least every year or it will start to grow bactria. If you still have the bypass (little plastic cap) you can us that in the mean time to get better water flow, it goes where the filter goes

SOURCE: water dispenser
Can you pull you refrigerator away from the wall and carefully remove the cover over the area where the water feeds the refrigerator. There should be a set of plugs one for dispenser and other for the ice maker. Make sure both sides are plugged into the dual water control valve. I did try to pull your model number up so I could help you better, but the model number above your post goes to an oven. Maytag and Samsung sometimes places parts in places that are hard to point out. Tis could also be a dispenser lockout. If you find the problem this would be something that commonly happens an assembly line. If you find the correct model number I will send you a service manual. Either way I am here to help, Thanks,Sea Breeze

I had the same problem. Turned out to be a microswitch under the lever used to activate it. The microswitch fell from the original position so it wasn't turning on anything. I tried gluing into position but the fumes from the crazy glue messed up the switch and I had to replace the whole rig.
The part is under the control display. You can pry it open from the left side.
