Plugged 120V appliance into 220V socket

Its dead, and whatever you do, DO NOT plug it into any power again, it could cause a fire so fast that you would be in mortal danger.
Most of the world uses 'real' levels of power, your american appliances cannot handle it.

Blender overheated

If it won't run once it has cooled down, you have probably cooked the electric motor, which is not worth trying to fix.

If you have some time to poke around, it is vaguely possible that a switch has burnt out, which can be fixed/cleaned. Another longshot is a burnt out fuse, but I doubt it has one.

No power. No lights. Dead.

Use a multimeter in continuity mode ( OHMS) to check the power cord to the unit. After disconnecting check the cord on the unit to the switch control and the motor.
The failure can be due to a trip switch- load trip- , failure of the motor brushes, failure in the selector switches, open wires to the unit or the motor .
Checking with the meter can confirm the fault if you find an open line.

The coleman rechargable blender not blending

Subject: Rechargeable Portable Blender Model No. 850-870

I was given one of these blenders for Christmas. I charged it through 3
cycles, used it once and the battery was dead. Charged it through another 5
charge cycles and used it once only to then have another dead battery. I
have put it through at least another 8 charge cycles, and it indicates a
DEAD battery. I have managed to blend two (2) 3/4 full pitchers in total. On
trying to start it now the green light 'flickers' quickly on and shuts down.

This is a totally useless device.

I would like to return it for a full refund, including shipping.

Help me revive my dead Oster blender

Check the motor brushes. They may be worn out. Also, since the 1980s, many electric motors have a thermal fuse in them. This unit "blows" when it gets to a certain temperature.

This fuse looks like a 22-caliber bullet and its pointed end is usually colored. If you have an ohmmeter or continuity checker, see if current will pass through the fuse. If not, you can try to replace it. Most times, the fuse is attached with crimp-on connectors. Replacements can be soldered in, if you put a clip-on heat sink between the fuse body and the soldering iron.
