Power acoustik ts620-2 2 channel amp reset

There are two things that spring to mind.
First of all, is the power lead actually providing the amp with power.
If you have a circuit tester, do a continuity test (beep test) from the pins on the plug to the output holes on the end.
If you get a beep from all 3, then the power cable sounds OK

Secondly, most Amps that I have worked with have a fuse on the back pannel. It SHOULD look like a small round screw cap. BEWARE. make sure that the Amp is unpluged and if the fuse does not come out with the cap, remove it with insulated pliers. Again, please be aware as amps have the ability to hold charge in their circuits for a lot longer than you would imagine.
Please take all precautions.

I hope that this helps

There is no sound

To solve that problem you must check the following:

1. Check the device driver in your audio by clicking:
* right click my computer
* click properties
* device manager
If you can see missing drivers with a yellow question mark that's the missing device driver install the
driver for that device.

2. For other solutions you can use the software named Driver Checker it will check your PC devices and missing drivers and it will also download the missing drivers and updates.

It wont light up and when i hook up the kicker it goes hay wire with out put but its not the music

If you are hundred percent sure that your sub woofer is working correctly, then it would indicate that the amplifier is faulty. Component failure inside will probably be the cause of your problems. Take it in to a qualified repairer to sort out.

Hooking sub up

Hello missywarden,

According to the specifications, the amp is capable of "tri-mode" operation, that is, running normal speakers on the individual channels while also powering a subwoofer in bridged mode.

Your sub needs to be a minimum of 4ohms and should be relatively efficient. I'd look for a sub that has an RMS power range of from about 75 watts up to a maximum of 250 watts.

The sub connects to the leftmost speaker terminal (positive - right channel) and the rightmost speaker terminal (negative - left channel).

It's not going to be a really loud subwoofer. The power is 360 watts RMS which will be shared by the normal speakers and subwoofer.

Hope this helps.

Amp Not working!

If the amp goes into protect mode, it's likely due to shorted output transistors. To eliminate other possible problems, read through the following page:

Amp in Protect Mode - Troubleshooting

If the problems are not with the wiring, follow the link at the bottom of the page to the Amplifier Repair Primer page.

Power Acoustik TS620-2 Amplifier

Check the wiring at the speakers themselves. It's possible that while you were moving the box one of the speaker wires came loose and shorted against the other terminal. A shorted speaker wire or damaged speaker will cause the amplifier to go into protect mode. If you have a digital multimeter with a resistance feature, you can test the resistance between the positive and negative terminals for each speaker.
