I have a Euro-pro model 6131 sewing machine.I just oiled and cleaned it. I am trying to find the standard factory settings i.e stitch length, stitch width, tension, and stitch setting, etc.

The only factory standard settings that you need to worry about is the top tension and the bobbin tension. The standard factory top tension is the midway point between high & low numbers. That is the ideal tension setting for most fabrics, thread, and needles. However, that is also adjusted based on what you are sewing. Bobbin tension you should leave as is unless there are issues that the top tension will not resolve. The other settings you mention are all adjustable based on what you want to do with your machine, ie straight vs zig-zag stitch, etc.--no standard factory setting.

What is the factory serting for the thread tension on a Janome Memory Craft 3000?

Factory setting is usually the midway point between high & low number. Sometimes it is specifically marked on the dial with a red line or a different color. Of course, this is only the general setting. Every machine is different (especially after use) so this setting needs to be tweaked. Even different kinds of fabric will require a tension tweak. The tension is correct when both threads meet in the middle of the fabric.

Huskylock 460d tensions are very loose what are the normal tension numbers

Tension adjustments will vary from machine to machine. The standard factory setting is the midway point between high & low number, however, that may change over time. You can always start with the standard factory setting and then tweak it to get the correct tension. In your case, you would need to tighten the tension on the threads that are loose.

FWIW--be sure that you always raise the presser foot when threading your machine. This releases the tension disks so the thread will seat properly. Also, give each thread a little tug to insure the thread is all the way in the disk. Sometimes you will hear a little pop sound.

If you are having difficulty determining which thread needs adjustment, use different color threads in each and test your machine. It will be obvious which thread tensions need adjustment. Once you determine the tension settings that work for your machine, make a note of them in your manual so next time you won't have to go through the process again.

I don't have a manual what are the tension for this machine

Difficult to address without knowing the make & model.

However, generally speaking, the standard factory setting for the upper tension is the midway point between the high & low numbers.

Bobbin tension is set at the factory and is tricky to reset by a novice. For the most part, it is recommended that the tension skrew setting on the bobbin case be marked with a permanent marker before any changes are made. That gives a reference point so that if it needs to be returned to the original setting, it is easier to do so. Make only 1/8 turns at a time and retest.

The correct tension is when the upper and bobbin threads meet in the middle of the fabric.

Keep in mind that the needle, thread, and fabric all impact tension. Before beginning a new project, test the tension first on a scrap of the fabric and get it set where you want it before sewing the project. That being said, tension (mostly upper thread) is static so it is important to get familiar with adjusting it to fit your project. One tension setting will usually not work for every project.

What are the correct top & bottom tensions for this machine?

Both tensions are preset at the factory. Normally, the bobbin tension is the last one to adjust. Most often tension adjustments are made to the top thread. The factory standard setting for the upper thread is the midway point between the high & low numbers, however, each machine is different and may need slight readjustment.

The tensions are correct when both, the upper and bobbin, threads meet in the middle of the fabric. Tension is not static. Differing fabric weights, thread, or needle sizes may necessitate a change to tension. Lighter weight fabrics like chiffon will require a different tension setting than heavy fabrics like denim. Always test first on scraps of the fabric you plan to sew. Get the tension set the way you want it before you begin sewing your project.

How do you adjust the bobbin tension?

Factory standard tension for upper thread is the midway point between the high and low number. However, that tension dial is meant to be used for tweaking tension. Generally, tweaking is required whenever the type of fabric, needle, or thread are changed, ie thicker fabric like denim should have a different upper tension setting than fine chiffon. To be successful with tension settings, one must become comfortable adjusting the upper tension.

NOTE: Accurate tension is achieved when the upper thread and bobbin thread meet in the middle of the fabric.

Kenmore 19233 very new. When using the zig zag stitch, only reliable at 2mm or less. Increasing width to 7mm results in a straight stitch with a few zig zag blips.

The hook timing is out. If it's very new I'm assuming it's still under warranty. Take it to the place you purchased for repair.
