If your tablet is similar to Amazon's Kindle Fire, swipe down from the top, Look for the volume icon touch screen and you can adjust from little sound to ear shattering sound. Good luck, Lora

Low sound can hardly hear it even tho the sound is turned high

Sometimes the app you're using has it's own sound control that overrides the device sound setting. Look in the app for sound settings, eg audiobooks apps often have a separate setting for volume and this is the one that you need to adjust.

How do I shut off volume in an app.

In many applications once the app is open you can press the volume up / down buttons to adjust the volume in that application. Many times however the volume will effect the whole device and not just that app. so notification sounds etc will also be lower.

My Bluetooth seems paired but no sound

It helps to state what iOS you are running for these kinds of problems. Depending on what app you are trying to use, you sometimes have to literally tell the iPad to choose your earpiece for sound for that particular app. Also be sure your bluetooth volume is up. This is independent of your main volume and can be adjusted only when connected. Simply use the volume adjustment on the side of the iPad. Some earpieces have their own volume control as well. Be sure to tap that up a few times as well.
