Question about Franklin Industries FWC35 Compact Wine Cooler Side by Side
I have a similar problem with my wine cooler. It's made by Franklin and the Model is HDC36SS. 3 Times now I have had a low temp alarm. The book says its a temp sensor or a magnet valve. It's always on the right hand side of the unit. Usually after I unplug the unit for about 15 minutes everything will reset. Then a month later for some unknown reason the alarm will sound. I've had this unit for about 1 year.
If anyone has knowledge of these magnet valves or what a repair or replacement would involve, please share your thoughts with me.

SOURCE: NOT COOLING (Franklin FWC35)
Sound like maybe the Compressor may have packed it in. Sometimes they overheat and that is what melts the plastic liner of the refridgerator. You need to call a service repair person or simply take the small frideg to them at the repair center. Most manufactureres have a repair cneter locator. Go to their web site and find the autorized repair center near you. If it is still under warranty you will in most cases need to find the receipt. ( TIP I put a copy of the receipt on the back in a ziplock bag on all appliances) This makes it easier to find them when things go wrong.
