How do I reset my 7 inch polaroid tabet to factory defaults?

Patty, I'm first assuming you can at least boot the tablet to the menu screen. Scroll over to the settings menu. Scroll down the settings menu to backup and reset. You then have two options given: Back up my data or Factory data reset!

How to factory reset

For factory reset:
  1. Take SD card out, power down.
  2. Replace SD card.
  3. Press and hold power AND volume buttons.
  4. When the device powers up, it should have the troubleshooting menu (that's what I call it at any rate). Select Factory Reset (some also says Wipe/Delete Data).
There are some people who states to re-flash the ROM. You would do this by downloading the .zip file from

http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.php?7012-Amlogic-Next7P12-8G-Modified-Recovery-Stock-Rom-amp-Flashable-Root

and unzipping the files to the SD card on your computer before inserting it into the device. Personally, leave the second bit as last resort, though (if used) is done similar to the steps I gave above.

After factory reset of my kobo glo, I couldn't get back my books that I ?

First make sure your books are really (still) in your account. Log into Kobobooks.com and check your library. Here's a direct link to the library page: Sign in to Kobo with

If you don't see your books there, you didn't buy them under that user account, or they're been removed from your account. Call Kobo support in either case.

If the books are there, make sure your Kobo eReader is also logged in using the same account. To do that,
1 - Open the menu
2 - Tap Settings
3 - Tap Account

Under 'Signed in as', you should see your user account. If not, tap in Sign in and log in. After that you can sync your library with your Kobobooks.com account from the menu again.
