How to unpack and install

You probably received a compressed file, Google WINZIP use it to unpack the file to a safe folder (make a new folder on your desktop). After unpacking the file SCAN it for viruses !! Look for the folder generally called README. The readme file will generally give you all the information needed to use the program.

Did you have a camera attached to your pc when you shut it down. This will cause this to happen. Have you installed a program lately and maybe it unpack itself to there. One solution is to do a system restore back to the time before these started appearing. This will not affect your files or windows but will get rid of them safely. Have a great day. :o)

You might have some viruses and malware......

Start your PC and press F8 several times until the boot menu comes up. Then select "Safe Mode with Networking". Now get some or ALL of the FREE programs below.

Make sure to select ALL of the "threat categories" when you install or configure Avira...

You should be in pretty good shape if you run and install all of these programs.

You can download the driver and other software for this model of printer here. Unpack the driver and unplug the printer from the computer and plug it back in. When it asks for the installation disc or directory with the file, point it to the folder containing the unpacked driver files.

You can download the driver from here.

1. Unpack the archive.
2. Unplug the scanner from the computer.
3. Enter the unpacked archive and run Setup.exe.
4. Finish the installation and plug in the scanner when prompted

u can unpack the CD in a floder on you PC, use a Cd ripper to do it, once u have unpacked the CD try running the application from the folder, chose the correct EXE file to execute the installation program.

Reinstall your anti-virus program. It happens when you perform Microsfot update. Remove antivirus from add/remove programs. Go to antivirus web site (scuh as pctool.com etc) and download latest antivirus and install. You will see the error is gone. Hope this help.

I think you need to unpack the file before you can install it.
go to that folder you downloaded the file and try to unpack the file with winzip or winrar.
then set the new unpacked location for your microsoft language installer.

If you are only using Adobe Acrocrap reader do your self a favour and bin the bloated piece of intrusive rubbish.
Use Foxit pdf reader instead.

Foxit reader = download 2.5mb, unpacked and installed 5.5mb
Acrocrap reader = download only 33mb, unpacked and installed (lord knows, probably huge)
