I was given a Patriot Invacare wheelchair and can not figure out what part is missing so can use foot rests. Have no idea how these hook into wheelchair.

It almost looks like these footrests don't go with the chair. is there a dealer for Invacare where you are? They can give you more information that we can over the internet.

How do you change the transmission belt

There is a instruction decal,on how the belt is installed, around the pulleys. This decal can be found under the left foot rest,on most Craftsman tractors. Didn't find on left footrest, try right footrest. Hope this help answering your question. Sincerely,Brad Locke 11/23/15

Baby jogger broken footrest

Re: Baby Jogger Broken Footrest
I just had this problem on my Baby Jogger City Versa. I had to get creative as both buttons were missing. On each side there will be two open slots. You can use a flat screwdriver on the side without a button and insert the screwdriver into a slot and push til you feel it go in, while pushing the button on the other side. You will probably need someone to adjust the footrest while you hold both sides in. It's a pain but it will allow you to get it in the position you want. I'm looking into whether I can get replacement buttons but haven't found anything yet :( Hope this helps!

Install foot rest

If you have the swing on footrests or legrests for a Pride Jazzy series with 2-pins on the hanger brackets please be sure that the hanger brackets are properly installed on the chair with the pin side of the bracket facing to the outside - not inside. To put the footrests on - align the lower pin first with the footrest at a 45 degree angle to the outside of the chair. Then align up the top pin and lower the footrest onto the hanger bracket. Rotate the footrest towards the front and lock the cam lock in place. If the cam lock has a handle that is bent it will interfere with the lock and need to be replaced or bent back in place.

I have a 6 year old son who cant reach the footrests on my vespa 300. What solutions are there out there other than the stirrups of the vespa kids seat? o

There are not really any great solutions and depending what country/state you are in, the law is often that passengers must be able to reach the footrests to ride on the back. There are a few modifications where wooden blocks are attached to the flip out rests but these only gain you a couple of inches which I doubt is enough.

Another option is to just forget the feet and if you wear a grab handle harness around your waist your son can get a very good grip on that.

Best solution is to wait until your son is old enough (probably not until is is at least 9 or 10). Have a look on www.modernvespa.com for more ideas.

Replacement footrest

What brand is it? Look up that company online or contact them by phone. Most companies should have replacement parts available if the stroller isn't too old. Good luck!
