If it doesn't come off the cold water supply under the sink, check in the basement, start by looking under the refrigerator in the basement and following the line to where it terminates, that is where the isolation valve should be located. It is a national code that an ice maker water supply to a refrigerator have an isolation valve that is accessible, that means it could be anywhere. If the refrigerator is brand new, then the line and the coil or reservoir inside the unit need to be purged, you may have to hold the water dispense button down for 10-15 minutes to push all of the air out.

My BI95 ice maker freezes and has water flow, the mould maker fills, the water continues to run into the bucket and it freezes solid. I changed the mould maker and water valve. The problem remains

If water keeps running after the fill cycle is usually indicates a bad fridge inlet valve. This valve controls the amount of water going into your icemaker. It is found where the water line goes into the fridge, usually in the back of the fridge at the bottom. You would need to cut the power to the fridge, turn off the water supply going into the fridge and remove a panel to get to it. You can check out online what a fridge water inlet valve looks like so you can identify it. It usually has 1-2 water lines going into it and 1-2 wire harnesses attached. You can buy new ones at a appliance parts store or online.

Water dispenser is slow

3 possibilities.
1. Water pressure is low going into the fridge- the way to test this is turn the water off, remove the line from connection in the back of the fridge and put it in a bucket to see the flow. The water should be shooting out with good pressure. If it is not, then you have a plumbing issue, likely at the valve under your sink.
2. Water filter is clogged- If your model has a water filter, it should be changed every 6 months.
3. Bad water valve. The solenoid valve in the fridge, right at the back where the water connects could be going bad and not opening all the way.

Water dispenser leaking

If you have a constant drip coming from the dispenser more than likely the water valve is partially stuck open. This is caused from a few things but the most likely cause is calcium and sedament build up in the lines. Water valves are easy to change. You just pull the fridge out from the wall, turn the water off and take the lower panal off. The valve is going to be either on the left or right side, wherever the water line from the wall goes. As far as the part goes I would order it from or and I would also recommend putting an inline filter inbetween the wall and the valve, even if your machine has a built in filter. Reason being is the inline filter will be the first thing the water goes through, catching the sediment, etc in place of the valve.

The pan at the bottom to hold water (Condensation?) is leaking. Never leaked before. We pulled out the fridge (Its on the freezer side) cannot pull it out. Water dumped. It took 2 /3 days to fill up...

The normal run of the fridge will not normally fill the pan, so you have a different source. In this model the water valve is next to the pan. Either you have a leaking water valve or a bad connection to the water valve. Either way the problem you will find is the water valve or line is the cause. Look from the from with a flashlight under the the freezer door, dispense water from the door and watch the valve.

Good Luck

How do i turn off the water supply to the fridge if its pipe is leaking?

There should be a small valve behind the fridge. Pull it out from the wall, and look behind it with a flashlight. They are usually near the floor at the wall. Turn clockwise to close it. In older homes, the water line can be run under cabinets to under the kitchen sink where water pipes are..

Old installations use 1/4 inch copper tubing. Newer ones use 1/4 inch nylon. Some use flexible white hoses.

If you close the valve and it still drips, then the entire water system will have to be closed off to replace the valve. These valves and new connection kits are available at sears, home depot and lowes.

Water not getting to water dispenser or ice maker - lines are clear.

Do you hear a clicking sound when attempting to dispense water? A click is usually heard when either of the water supply solenoid valves (one for water & one for ice) opens and closes when dispensing water, or when refilling the ice cube tray right after the ice maker dumps the ice cubes.

If you don't hear the clicking sound, there is probably an electrical problem. Given that BOTH water and ice no longer work, I doubt it both the water and ice maker water solenoid valves failed at the same time. It is probably going to require some digging to solve it.

If you do hear a clicking sound, check the shut off at the supply source. The "tap" type valves that puncture a sink's cold water supply line can become clogged by mineral deposits over time. Make sure that the fridge isn't resting on a supply line, effectively crushing it shut or closed - likewise, the line may have become kinked when the fridge was pushed back into position. You should try to dispense water while the fridge is out from the wall to see if it is a kinked line. Check the entire exposed length of the line for evidence of crushing, too. If the line is routed in cabinets, etc. you should try to inspect the line to make sure nothing fell out of a drawer - and crushed / kinked the line. Replace any damaged water line found. You could shut the water off, and remove the line from the fridge - then have someone turn the water on while you hold the line to fill a container. If it flows - the problem lies in the fridge. If not - it could be a clogged inline filter or bad valve.

There are a bunch of things to check that should be pretty easy to start. Hopefully, you needn't go any further. Good luck!

Could a fridge continue leaking even after water supply to house was shut off? My kitchen is flooded and I cannot determine if the fridge is the culprit. I do have an icemaker. Respond quickly please

The most the fridge will contribute is the quart or so of water contained in the lines. If the water has been turned off to the house and the valve to the refrigerator is closed, then that is about all the water that should come out of it.
If the water supply to the house is off, then open the valves to the tub or sink on lowest floor to relieve the pressure, then start looking for the water source.
If in a cold climate, look under the sink if it is on an outside wall

this is rather easy..Go purchase a I/m water line install kit. Please measure the amount of feet this will need and buy the correct size and install the tap/saddle valve onto cold water line under sink. Then, run your water line out of the back side of sink and around baseboard or behind the cabinets to back of refrigerator. The rest is just connecting to the valve on refrigerator and check for water leaks and your finished...Bruce

The ice maker is not producing any ice. Can it be reset?

First off, is the water going into the ice maker? If not, it could be a plugged water inlet or line, or it could be that the water solinoid (water valve) has failed and needs to be replaced.

Normally, check 1st for water getting into the ice maker and if not, check the water lines and shut-off valve to make sure you are getting water to the fridge. Sometimes hard water deposits will block ice maker lines over time.

If that isn't the situation, check for a faultyfailed solinoid by 1st shutting off the water supply and removing the water line that goes from the wall to the fridge, if you're gettting water there, go to the back of the fridge and see if you can get water past the valve, etc. If not, it is most likely the water valve that has failed and needs replacement.

That knocking noise is probably coming from your water line, and that happens when there is some kind of a ripple/wave effect when the water goes into your dishwasher (DW) thru the inlet/fill water valve. First turn your hot water valve off, underneath the sink coming from the wall and it usually is also going to your kitchen faucet. Then turn the electricity off by locating the breaker to the DW line and turning it off, or if it is plugged in an outlet under your sink, just unplug it. Then take the kick toe panel (panel with 2 or 4, 1/4" or philips screws) from the bottom of the dishwasher. You will then see the water hose, or could be a copper pipe, going into the valve (will have a selenoide, cylinder shape on top and have 2 wires plugged in to it). Unscrew the hose/pipe from the water valve and get a small wide bucket or pot and aim the hose/pipe to it. Slowly have someone open the water valve from under the sink while you hold it in the bucket/pot. If you hear the knocking again, you will need a plumber to check the pipes, hoses and water valve at your wall. If you don't here the knocking noise, just replace the dishwasher inlet/fill water valve part # 785330. Please post back.
