When you drain the fuel tank do the plugs need to be replaced or will they reseal?

So far, every drain plug I have removed has had a special washer often referred to as a crush ring. Some come with an aluminum washer which should be replace but I often see people put the plugs in with the same washers and have no leaks. It's a gamble however, Most auto parts houses carry replacement rings to fit drain plugs.

What is the part/how to find replacement discharge tube for DH400P? I lost the original hose because, initially, I was able to just drain into floor drain. Now, new location, I need to use the pump feature...

Try explaining what you need to an appliance parts supplier or find a current model DeLonghi dehumidifier and identify to a salesperson what you need.

How do I replace the oil drain plug on a 2007 Honda civic-ex 1.8,4 cylinder

You can order a new oil pan, get a generic oversized that cuts its own threads or use a tap to make new threads for a bigger plug

Where are oil drain holes located

It's easy to do - the most difficult part is going to be finding the correct wrench to fit the plugs - you need a 10mm square drive - I know it looks like it's a 3/8" square drive, but it's not, and if you use a 3/8" square ratchet drive, as many people do, you run the risk of rounding out the hole...

Park the car on level ground and set the hand brake (parking brake), slide under the rear end and remove the fill plug (the higher of the two plugs) first - if you do not get the fill plug out, do not remove the drain plug.

Once you have the fill plug out, place a drain pan under the axle and remove the drain plug (the lower plug) and allow the oil to drain - give it half an hour or so - and then replace the drain plug and add oil through the fill hole until it starts to dribble back out, and then replace the fill plug.

You need 2.5 litres (5.3 US pints) of 75W85 GL5 oil, and it helps if you get yourself one of those cheap "oil pumps" - 1?mpt=1886339750&adtype=1&size=1x1&type=3&campid=5336116678&toolid=10001 amazon_icon.gif 1?mpt=1886339750&adtype=1&size=1x1&type=3&campid=5336116678&toolid=10001 this is just an example, I'm sure the auto parts place nearest you has something similar.

I'm leaking antifreeze and need to replace the radiator drain plug I have unscrewed it but it won't come out. Any ideas why it isn't coming out ?

Sometimes radiator drain plugs have an enlarged section on the end so they won't fall out and get lost in the bucket of drained antifreeze. I am surprised that this one does though. I wonder what brand radiator you have?
Anyway, it should just **** out once it is completely unthreaded.

Have a Mr. Heater 175000 BTU that is leaking at the bottom were the drain plug is located. The O-ring is cracked, I need a replacement for the O-ring. What size do I get?

Tip the heater up so that the fuel is away from the drain plug hole and take the plug to an auto parts store. They have bulk o-rings there and can fit the needed O'ring to your plug.

I checked the parts manual:

There is no drain plug listed for the tank. Only the tank assy. (Item 2)

You might even be able to get a copper crush washer similar to what is used on an automobile or motorcycle oil drain plug.

The fix is to unscrew the drain plug from the oil reservoir. As the oil drains into it, the air inside is displaced and needs to go somewhere. The left over oil from previous drainings has caused the reservoir to become an airtight seal making the oil compete for the trapped air for the space resulting in the much of the oil giving up and draining over the top instead of pushing the air out. Removing the plug allows the air to escape as the oil rushes in. Only problem with this solution...I've now lost my drain plug because I took it out to drain and misplaced it. T-Fal doesn't sell replacement parts and instead I would have to shell out $15 plus shipping for a new reservoir from a 3rd party repair center. For now a paper towel stuck in place of the plug is getting me buy.
