Question about Sharp Aquos LC-46D62U 46 in. LCD HDTV
We just got a new Sharp LCD HDTV. When we turned it on it went through the set up process. The tv is now displaying only black and white. Everything else seems to work fine. We have Directv and it seems to be working ok, too. Additionally, when we hit the MENU button to try to go through the SETUP process again, it is not longer an active choice to choose with the remote. Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks.

SOURCE: Blinking power light.
I have a red blinking power light. When turning on the TV with the remote is flashes green then returns to the red power light. I have tried the reset several times and have unplugged for several minutes but the set will not come on.

I have the same model TV and the following worked for me. I am using A/V cables attached to Input1 on back of the TV.
On your Sharp TV remote control:
1. Select the Input (1-5) that is attached to your VCR.
2. Go to the menu and select options.
3. Change your color system to NTSC.
This should stop your picture frome flashing on and off.
You still may have a issue with the screen colors. I don't know of a way to address this, other than to make the picture monochrome.
