How do I recover the enable password on my Trapeze mobility exchange mx-8. Or how do I do a factory reset?

Hi Mate.

In case you still need to do this, or in case someone else stumbles on this problem and needs an answer, below is the the solution.

Connect to the MX device via console cable and recycle power.

Interrupt the boot process by pressing "q" followed by the "Enter" key when prompted.

at the boot> prompt enter the following command:

boot> boot OPT+=default (NOTE: This is case sensitive) and press "ENTER"

Presto, your devices boot with factory defaults.

I don't know how to remove the seat to get to the batteries?

Under the seat there are 4 retaining clips connected to the trapeze bars (the bars going across in the front and back) Undo the clips and lift the seat off (make sure you don't grab by the armrests) Release the shroud fasteners at the back and take the shroud off. You will now have access to the batteries.

Upside down images on my telescope. Bought used -no manuel. What to do?

In a refractor images are upside down as with most telescopes. You need an image erector to create a normal correct R and L and Up and Down image. It is a lens which goes in front of the eyepiece to give a correct image.

Bolt broke that holds saftey seat latch on - where to get parts?

one of the best places my be a Automovtive supply stores , you may also try a Home improvement store, they tend to carry "odd" Bolts, to remove the broken bolt you may have to drill it out with a special drill tip also avaliable at most of the Home Improvent stores,, make sure you take your broken piece with you if you still have it so you can get a perfect match.

My lens fell apart

you should be able to thread the part that fell off right back on. Then just screw it till it stops. It sounds like is missing a screw that keeps it from coming apart. Its not a huge deal.
I have older lenses and take them apart all the time to clean.
now that's assuming it came apart in the middle.
but if your saying it ell off the mount then we have a whole nother problem.

if it just unlatched then just push the button on the side of the opening where the lens attaches and twist the lens counter clock wise after it sits evenly around the hole.
if you are not new to slrs please don't offended Im just going off the fact you said it came off

let me know if im missunderstanding,
Caleb

Redeye

Red-eye is actually caused by the light from the flash bouncing off the back of the retina and picking up the color red from the blood vessels. To correct this effect, follow these steps: Turn the mode dial to PlayBack Mode (green arrow) and display the image with redeye. Press OK\Menu button. Using the arrow pad, navigate to MODE MENU>EDIT>REDEYE FIX. Press the right arrow key, START will display. Press OK\Menu After {BUSY} bar displays, a screen will display with an option to cancel or save the image. ? If the option [Go] is displayed, press the OK\Menu button. This saves a corrected version of the image. ? If the option CANCEL is displayed, than the camera was unable to correct the image. Press the left arrow key to exit. This correction may not work on all pictures. If you import the original image into Olympus Master software you can also apply the Red-Eye fix located in the Edit menu. This lets you precisely pinpoint the eye area and remove the red. It even lets you remove green or blue, which can occur with animals.
