Question about HP DeskJet F380 All-In-One Printer
I lost my Drivers CD and trying to install F380 drivers on Vista on my laptop. To install the drivers i followed the following steps:
downloaded the latest drivers from the hp.com then started the installation, at this time my printer is not connected to my laptop and printer has USB cord. while installing m getting window with "Connect Your Device Now" message with one checkbox saying "If you are unable to connect your device now, click this box and then click next to finish installing the software you can connect your software later. " If i select that checkbox and after restarting machine i am trying to connect it again but its failed to connect to my laptop. very frustrated and tried literraly 4 times installing-uninstalling.. Any HELP would be highly appreciated. Thanks...Tejas
Well first of all uninstall the driver or drivers by going to the Control Panel, programs etc, if there driver is installed . Reboot, Now can you try another usb lead ? http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareList?os=2093&lc=en&dlc=&cc=us&lang=&product=1128296 now look at the post called Critical Update to Correct a PC to Printer Communication Issue download the HP Full Feature Software and Drivers install and connect the printer when prompt.
