How do I connect my philips dvd750vr dvd player to my tv? (tv is a toshiba cx32f60). thanks

Hello,

it all depends on the cord that you want to use. There are different cords that can be used to connect Tv to your player.

But I would recommend RCA cord. RCA cord is a Yellow, white and red wires. The yellow stands for video, while the white and red stands for audio left and right.

Look at the back of your TV, connect the yellow part of the cord to Video IN, the connect the red and white to Audio IN respectively.

Now, connect the other end of the wires to the player in the format; Connect the yellow to video Out, the connect the red and white to audio Out, respectively.

Turn on your TV and Player. Press source or AV on the TV remote and a display of the DVD will appear on the screewn of your TV.
That would be all.

If you still have difficulty in connecting, please let me know so that I can help further.

Yours sincerely.

The New TV.don't come on, keep showing no signal, don't know what is wrong, can you help us, to get it going. thank you

Hello,

The TV is turned on. The TV showing "no signal" is an indication that is turned on. Its just that the TV is not recieving any signal whatsoever from an antenna, DVD player or dish.

I suggest you connect thee TV to a DVD player. Click source on the TV remote to AV 1. Use a RCA (yellow white and red wire) for the connection.

Yellow stands for video and white and red stands for audio. Connect yellow to "vidoe out' from the DVD player to 'video in' at the back of the TV. Do the same for the audio white and red.

Now there should be a display on the TV. If there is not display, check your connection.

Let me know if need more help.

Your sincerely.

Goodmans LD3265D1 TV won't switch on.

use a freeview box, turn the dtv off in the menu

To get it too power on press the source button a lot after a (good) few trys your get it up on another source, my own tv does this and using a freeview/freesat box makes it use-able just a pain to turn on in the first place even if you turn the dtv off in the menu

If anyone knows how to get it to turn on stright to another source would be great to know how

We have a Philips 4 BDS4231R/00 and it does not start. We can here the relay sound and if we turn it on and off say 7 - 10 times it works fine. Could anybody tell me how this can be fixed. Please

Hey John, I am experiencing a very similar problem. If I unplug the TV when it is on (green light) and plug it back in. It begins green, and clicks to red. I immediately turn the TV back on with the remote. Most of the time it seems to struggle for several seconds, sometimes with a little scratchy audio popping in and out. It will then go from green to red on the TV and if I try to turn it back on it will go green for a few seconds and back to red but without any click coming from the TV. No matter how many times I try after that, no TV. If, on the other hand, I unplug while green, plug it back in and with the remote turn it back on after it has come up green and then clicked to red, it will come on. It might take thee or five times but at least it comes on... If you hear of a real solution, please let me know (bennettkw@hotmail.com) in the meantime, best of luck.
