SOURCE: WM 0642HW Drain Pump?

I have seen these drain pumps fail before, sand builds up behind drain pump impeller and prevents the impeller from spinning fast enough to drain machine. you will need to replace this pump but it is not easy tadk, I recommend you call for service to authorized LG servicer that is factory trained. These machines are delicate and need professional service, call Geek Squad they will service it (yes they service appliances). Since Best Buy sells so many LG machines, they have great experience with this. Try calling Sears as well, they have training on same product.

SOURCE: I have an LW1210ER unit.

It could be mold, smoke, or cooking odors. "When conditions are too moist inside the unit, mold can grow on the condenser coil. When your air conditioner blows cold air into your home, it also blows mold spores and their musty odor. If someone smokes within your household, the odor of smoke can sink into the coil and be redistributed into your home whenever the air conditioner runs. The same thing can happen with intense cooking odors"
Try below steps that I have learned before from a good source and it really works.
You can get rid of the smell in your home air conditioner by cleaning the condenser coil. A solution of 1/2 cup of bleach in a gallon of water will kill mold and its spores. Examine the condenser pan to ensure it is draining properly, which will prevent water from building up and recreating the moist environment that allowed the mold to grow in the first place. The same bleach solution will deodorize the coil and remove smoke and cooking odors.

If you have problems with smoke or cooking odors in your air conditioning unit, cleaning the condenser coil will not be enough to remove those odors from your home. You must also replace your air filter even though the filer looks clean to you because it can absorb odors and recirculate them into your home. Smoke and cooking odors can sink into wall, furniture and carpets, so they might linger long after your air conditioner no longer has an issue with odoriferous coil.

Good luck to you

Thanks

After switching on the ac unit water start dripping

I assume inside the air handler closet, underneath the unit, or wherever unit is located.
Sounds like condensate line is stopped up.
You need to blow out with compressed air. You must make sure that you block air from exiting from open end of line. I use a plastic shopping sack. May have to remove cover to evaporator and insert hose in condensate drain connection in drain pan. Stuff the bag in around hose and opening to seal and blast air into line. Be sure that if there is a "T" fitting with riser and cap on the end, that it is secure, otherwise you may get a shower. You also may use the riser with the cap remove to blow out. insert hose past opening leading back to evaporator drain push bag down past opening leading back to evap drain, then seal around inserted hose and blast. The riser with the cap is where you would pour some bleach every couple of months to keep line clear.

The drain is blocked and water running out of the wall unit into the house. I have tried to get a hose into the outlet drain and blow up it, but the unit is too high on the outside wall for me to do that...

I understand that the drain hose could be blocked in my freezer. But is there another way to unclog from the hose outside the freezer? Just not sure how to locate the hose from the inside.

Well technically you could blow compressed air from the outside, however, whatever is clogging the drain tubing, which is most likely going to be food debris, would then be blown into the freezer. The drain begins underneath the evaporator coil in the freezer. YOu will have to remove any and all ice SAFELY before you can blow compressed air into the drain to remove the obstruction.

Bottom freezer is leaking water. Water seems to

You have a clogged defrost drain. The problem is fixed by unplugging unit from wall, open both doors, blow fan for 24 hours to SAFELY remove the ice covering the drain hole. If you use ANY other method, you may regret it. Once ice is melted, remove debris that is likely blocking the small drain hole, if no debris in drain pan, direct some high pressure air down the drain to block the debris INSIDE the tubing. Furthermore, its a good idea to make the drain hole in the drain pan larger, as sometimes a bubble of water can freeze in the drain hole, and ice could be the cause of your blockage from that bubble.

A.C. unit is draining on the inside of the house.

There is a drainage and it is stucked with dust, mold etc. Just open metal lid on the wall inside your house, where the coil is installed and where you're changing filters, remove air filter, there at bottom you will see the drainage hole (now under water probably). Rent an air compressor from Home Depot or Lowe's, stick the hose to that hole and turn compressor on. This shall blow the drainage through. After that slowly pour 1-2 cups of Chlorox or Tylex in there, let it stand for 15 minutes, then pour some more water and blow with compressed air again, then flush it with water and blow last time.
Do that at least once in two years, or you gonna have same problem again.

GE REFRIGERATOR SPILLS OUT WATER COLLECTED BELOW VEG. BINS, HEAVY CONDENSATION ON WALLS OF REFRIG. CANT FIND A DRAIN HOLE AT BASE OF FREEZER OR FRIG.

Remove the food from the freezer . Remove the rear freezer panel , inside the freezer . At the base in the rear , use a hair dryer and defrost (you'll see a drain hole possibly in the middle of the drain ) . Defrost drain hole until hot water can be poured and go thru the hole . I use a small hose to blow thru the drain hole to remove any debris which could have accumulated inside the drain line .
