Question about Refrigerators
Turned off water to freezer, now water pooled and frozen at bottom of freezer, and water will leak from overflow of that every couple of days
The water coming down the fill tube is flashing over and running into the evap and freeing of the evap fan and when it first starts it sounds like the fan is hitting something and if not cleared it starts to not cool ,,, right?
If you take the icemaker out of the way and take another piece of plastic tubing just larger than the u-shaped one coming in and cut it about half as long as the one sticking out and slide it up over it till its up againt the back of freezer it will fix that problem your having ,,, they make a kit but all the kit is is a larger tub to slide over the one you have

J, sounds like your dispensor flapper is not closing properly and you are drawing warm air up into the ice bucket. This model had an issue where the flapper pin holder was part of the housing and would break off. They have a kit now that fixes that problem. The only other thing it could be would be low freezer temps or it's staying in defrost too long. With out being there, I would start with the dispensor flapper. Check it out and post back.. Catriver.

icemaker is iver filling and running down through the freezer, some of the water runs out into the floor since the door gasket does not provide an water proof seal just an air tight seal
the ice maker can be adjusted, remove the cover off the frount of the icemaker and back the screw on the right side so that the indicator in the middle is twards the minus sign and you need to clear the frozen water out of the freezer drain pan so it can go to the drain pan down at the compressor
it might take a few adjustments on the ice maker to get it right

We had a similar problem. It ended up being a frozen pea that fell down into the defrost drain and was blocking the water from draining out each time the freezer defrosted.

SOURCE: Freezer leaking water
The drain is plugged just below the coils in the back of the freezer. My fridge had the same problem and I found the hose (which can be accessed from the rear bottom) was plugged with mold. Also, i noticed the hose was connected to the water holding pan and was too close to the bottom and easy to plug. I removed it from the connector and just let it dangle in the holding pan.

DRAIN TROUGH IS PLUGGED OR FROZEN. EMPTY FREEZER AND REMOVE LOWER TRAY TO SEE A HOLE ALL THE WAY IN THE BACK USUALLY IN THE CENTER. CHECK TO SEE IF WATER CAN DRAIN THROUGH BY POURING A CUP OF IT INTO HOLE. IF IT IS FROZEN POUR HOT WATER UNTIL IT THAWS, IF PLUGGED REMOVE THE OBJECT.
