Wii Remotes not showing up on TV

you can try two things if you havent already go to the options and switch the wii to HDTV from the options menu (if you have a HDTV) or if you have a glare anywhere that hits the tv or is hitting your remote block sunlight from that area if these two do not work you sensor bar is broke or your wii remote sensor is broke.

Wont read disc

Unplug all of the cords from the Wii, TV, and outlet. Wait an hour and plug it all back in and it should work. If it does not, then you will need to call Nintendo to get it repaired or replace the laser yourself. Thanks, I hope this helps!

Wii remote

Hello.
You need to make sure the Wii knows where the sensor bar is. (Above or below TV) Another cause is low batteries. Also waving the Wiimote out of range. Make sure the sensor bar is on the very edge of your TV stand, or enterrtainment center. I have noticed on mine that if I'm going crazy with the wiimote and go to low, it will not register. Those are the most common problems and solutions. But you may even have a bad wiimote. There is also a calibration setting for the wiimote. So try all that. I hope this helps!
Good luck and happy gaming!!

Nintendo wii problems

Hold the Wii Remote with the button side down. Without using much force, firmly tap the button side of the remote against the palm of your other hand a few times. Doing this does not take a lot of force, so be sure not to tap the Wii Remote very hard. Check for proper response.

  • Check to make sure the Sensor Bar cord is inserted into the back of the Wii console and the Sensor Bar is centered above or below your TV screen.
  • Make sure you are using fresh batteries in the Wii Remote.
  • The Wii Remote Controller should be used between 3 to 10 feet from the TV.
  • Make sure no objects are blocking the signals between the Sensor Bar, the Wii console, and the Wii Remote.
  • Check for interference from infra-red light sources, such as candles, sunlight, fireplaces, and stoves.
  • Radio frequency interference may cause the Wii Remote to work erratically. Check for wireless devices such as cordless phones, wireless computer keyboards or mice, or other similar devices, and move or turn them off.
I hope this fixes it for you!

Lagging in Guitar Hero and now others

What kind of TV do you have? I've noticed that when I played GH 3 on my plasma TV it lagged until I calibrated it. You might need to change the TV scale to 480p since wii isn't high def. Hope this helps.
