Question about Dream Maker Spas Dream Maker Ez Spa Hot Tub
I have Dream Maker Big EZ Spa. I turn it on and wait a few seconds I can get jets going but then a minute or so later the GFCI on the main cord will go off and turn the hot tub off. Any suggestions? I have no idea even where to go for support. I bought the tub through Spa Depot about 1 1/2 years ago. It's worked perfectly up until now. Help?
This could be a number of things. First make sure your water flow is not impeded. Clean your filters or replace them check that there is no debris in the intakes or returns. There are fuses for each item from your power pack, you can unplug everything, lights, blower, pumps etc.. plug them in one at a time and when the GFCI trips that is the fuse you need to replace. Lastly, you could have a siezed motor or a bad GFCI for this you may want to call out a professional hot tub service company in your area.

I have the same problem with a one week old x400. It was working fine last night but about 8 hours later water temp has dropped 4 degrees and the pump will not turn on, I can hear the relay in the control box make a ticking sound when I press the pump icon on the control center but the pump does not start. Is there a fuse in the control box?

Did you make sure you observed the correct polaity on the cord? The white wire should go to the silver screw on the cord cap. The black wire should go to the gold terminal (brass) and the Green wire should go to the Green screw. If the plug was corroded, is it possible that the GFCI is also corroded? They aren't that expensive and you could replace the GFCI yourself if you're sure you can locate the circuit breaker and turn it off.

Are the jets coming on when you press the button?
Try unplug the control from the board and plug it back in.
