Olevia 342 b11

The HDMI says "there is no signal". We have tried this ps3 with another tv and HDMI cable and that works. Using another HDMI cable does not change.

SOURCE: says no signal when switched to hdmi when there is one.

Have the same problem with a 532H - but here is what I did to resolve the issue:
1) Click your Menu button on the TV remote.
2) Go to Screen (click the right button)
3) Go to Main Picture Source (click the right button)
4) Select HDMI (click the Menu button when done)

SOURCE: PS3 will not work on new tv using HDMI cable ?

you have to re sync your playstation when you go from HDMI to regular wires.

after you connect ps3 to tv.
hold down the power buttondown on the ps3 for like 5 seconds (1 beep then another ),
after you hear a second beep the ps3 automoatically adjusts itself to whatever it's connected to.

SOURCE: TV says "no input signal"

Either the hdmi input has a bad capacitor or the cables are bad. You can try different cables or connections. If the result is the same, then the input on tv is bad probably due to faulty capacitor

Setting up your HDMI cable on your PS3 games console

1: Turn on your TV and set its input to HDMI.

2: Make sure your PS3 is connected via a HDMI cable.

3: Power on your PS3 and press and hold the power button for approx. 5 seconds, you will hear the PS3 start to beep, release the power button after the second beep.

4: Your PS3 should automatically configure itself for HDMI video and Audio output.

Hi, My Olevia 42 inch, model342-B11, has a problem with its picture. At first I had vertical lines running down the screen, then it turned into small squares. What do you think is wrong with it?

Parts are hard or impossible to find for this brand but it sounds like the "main" board which processes all signal in and out of the display.

I have an Olevia 37" model 537-B11. How do I take it apart and look first for a fuse on the main board to fix the "no signal" message that I get when using the HDMI cable. I know the HDMI cable and cable...

no signal message is not related to fuses..you have to autyo search the channel of your local tv station thrue your remote control goto menu and search channel.

The HDMI port on my Olevia Model 337-B11 LCD tv quit working. Is there an easy fix?

Without replacing the main board, probably not. Did you try another HDMI source to verify the TV is at fault? If it is the cheapest fix is to use component only.

My olevia tv is not sensing the hdmi input right away.

HDMI has to be able to communicate with each other. In most cases the HDMI issue is with the device connected to the TV and not the TV itself. If you did firmware upgraded on the TV then the issue is with the laptop. Try the laptop on anther brand of TV and see what happens.

HDMI ON ILO 32HD

it sounds like there is a problem with either the output on the PS3 or the input on the circuit board of the TV. I would try a reset on the PS3 first. Also make sure that there are no other video or audio cords plugged into the PS3 because this will cause the PS3 not to send the signal via the HDMI.
