Question about Pioneer VSX-52TX Receiver
Checked wires, power supply etc. Unit will not turn on.
Try pressing and holding 'advanced surround' and the power button. This should reset the protect circuit. If it turns off again right away, then there is a problem with the amp that needs to be repaired.

Press the ENTER + VIDEO2 buttons on the front panel of the unit for 2 seconds. The unit then comes back to life! Lifesaver... I've been there... pjaca

Try combination of ENTER and VIDEO2 pressed simultaneously, If it comes on and stays on, you are lucky, other wise it will say AMP ERROR and shutdown mining, one of the power amps is blown.

Its because the pioneer does not display menu options through hdmi. You have to hook up basic yellow composite to monitor out.
