I've just had to reinstall Windows XP and that has left my monitor only being able to do 680x840 (I think) and the color scheme is only showing 4-bit colors.

As a general rule, monitors don't need drivers. Video cards do. Are you experiencing some type of problem?

You need drivers for your video card. You will need to reinstall the system drivers from your computer's driver disk or go to the support site for your brand of computer. Go to their support menu item and look for the XP drivers. One of them will be video. That's what you need. Chances are, if you've reinstalled XP, there are other drivers you will need, also, like LAN, system board drivers, etc.

Monitor Driver Installation in Windows Vista and Windows 7 How do I install the driver for my monitor in Windows Vista and Windows 7?After connecting a monitor to a system running Windows Vista or Windows 7, it will be automatically recognised and installed. However, installing a specific driver for the monitor can be beneficial to give better colour accuracy and to ensure the right resolutions can be supported.
To download and install a monitor driver, please follow these steps:
  1. Visit the Drivers and Manuals section of the Gateway support website.
  2. Under Select Product Family, choose your product family.
  3. Under Select Product Line, choose your product line.
  4. Under Select Product Model, choose your product model.
  5. Choose your operating system from the "Please Select Your OS" window and click Confirm..
  6. Click the orange icon in front of the driver download.
  7. Click Save and select where you want to download the file.
  8. Right-click the downloaded ZIP-file and then click Extract All Files. Double-click the folder that has the same name as the downloaded file. The folder will contain the files needed for the driver installation.
  9. Click Start, then right-click My Computer (or Computer) and click Manage.
  10. In the Computer Management window, on the left, click Device Manager.
  11. Click the + sign in front of Monitors. The connected monitors will display. At least one will be named Generic PnP Monitor or Plug and Play Monitor.
  12. Right click this entry, and select Update Driver Software. You will see a Update Driver Software wizard.
  13. Select Browse my computer for driver software.
  14. In the next window, click Browse and navigate to the folder containing the monitor driver files. Click OK when this folder is selected.
  15. Back in the Update Driver Software wizard, click Next. Windows will now search for the driver and install it automatically. When done, click Finish.

I need the drivers for my Insignia 19" LCD TV 720p (model NS-LCD19-09). Can you assist?

Hi There are no specific drivers for the TV / monitor. If you are planning to use it with a PC , please check the drivers of the graphics card. (right click anywhere on the desktop , go to properties and settings there you should see the second monitor if the pc is able to connect to the TV otherwise you would need to use a standard driver
please specify what you are planning to do , for example PC make , operating system what connection etc

I am unable to make resolution 1024 x 768 in lg model 500G

If the monitor is somewhat old and the monitor hardware doesn't support 1024x768 resolution, installing a new driver won't help. You will have to switch to a better monitor.
