If the spring in the tension discs is not tightened correctly then the tension discs will be lose snd not provide the tension you need to sew.

How to thread the machine

From the spool pin take the thread to the left and over the top cotton guide, bring the thread towards you and straight down in between the tension discs, make sure the presser foot is up so the discs are open, straight down towards the needle and round the first big cotton guide, straight back up to the take up lever making sure the take up lever is at the top, right to left through the eye of the take up lever, straight down to the needle going through any guides on the way, thread the needle front to back

Bottom stitching loose

If your bottom stitching is loose ie looping it is normally the top tension that needs tightening. Just adjust the tention on your cotton on the top front of your machine. Hope this works.

Where is the reverse button on elna 2005?

The reverse button is next to where you thread the cotton. as the thread goes down to the needle, there is a small cream tab approx 1.5cm long. This is pushed down when you want to reverse. It will only go down about 1.5cm then release.

I think you are suposed to use the left hand guide above the needle. The right hand guide is used when you are using a twin needle. See if that helps.

Thread is to tense and cannot fix bobbin

See if you can find the threading guide or manual online at sewusa.

If you cannot find the exact model, you may find one that is very similar that will show you how to thread, wind a bobbin and insert it into the bobbin case/shuttle.

You can also try these suggestions:

Set the tension to 4.

Lift the presser foot and rethread the machine. It is important to thread in this manner for the tension control to work properly.

I need a threading diagram singer 329k sewing machine

Cotton omn the reel pin, take the thread from the right to the left and through the top cotton guide above the takeup lever, make sure the takeup lever is at the top and make sure the presser foot is up, take the thread down the right hand side, round the tension unit and back up the left hand side to the takeup lever, right to left through the takeup lever and then follow the guides all the way down to the needle and thread front to back, flat side of the needle must face back.
when you put the bobbin in, bobbin in your left hand and the thread must feed from the bottom of the bobbin, drop the bobbin, through the groove and lay the thread to the back.
