SOURCE: 1989 Dodge Ram D50, no spark. coil may be miswired.

Check the resistance on the coil. the (+) (-) side should be about 10 Ohms resistance and the part that goes out of the coil should be 1-2 ohms resistance. Get yourself an ohmmeter and check it. best way to check is to figure out what wire runs from the computer to the coil and follow the wiring all the way to the coil making sure theres no rips or shorts. If there isnt, then I would splice into the two wires and run two new wires over to the coil. If it still doesnt have spark then its a faulty computer and should be replaced. Good luck

SOURCE: Heater blower motor replacement -1997 Dodge Grand Caravan

Remove the cover plate on the passenger side of the heater box, 3-4 screws.
Unplug the motor assembly, remove 3-4 more screws that hold the motor in place and pull it down from its position. Get an aftermarket motor and installed it in the original housing with the original squirrel cage.
Installation is the reverse of removal.

My dodge caravan has a miss. Can u help?

Hi Ray, concerning your miss while turning, the advice I have is to check your wiring into your coil. Sometimes dirt or a loose wire will do that. Always have your car in park and disconnect the negative cable on your battery. hope this works for you!

Electrical wiring to my 1998 dodge caravan distributor

There's a lot of vibration in the distributor, so it's an area where you may find loose wires.
Look for loose wiring in the distributor or coil.
Hope this helps.

I think the coil went on my 2000 dodge caravan. How do I test for that?

disconnect one of the plug wires from coil, install a inline tester and check for fire. if that test is ok then use the same tester to check the coil wires to the plugs. check inthe fuse panel to see if you have a blown fuse or relay first. if the coil is bad then before u try to remove it disconnect the battery.

Car heat takes 10 to 15 minutes on a 2005 dodge

could be clogged up heater core or the heating helper element ..if you look for the heater air box you should see a 3 wire plug with i believe its 2 screws on it remove it and start the car and have someone hold it {not the coil wire ends and turn on the heat it should glow red hot this is the heater coil helper you may also have insufficient antifreeze remove radiator cap and check fluid levels also while your there feel the top and bottom hose to see if they both get hot and that you feel water in them but 1st ensure the radiator is full if just the top hose going into the heater-core to the firewall is hot and the bottom one is cold you should have a radiator flush to dislodge the Gunk buildup in the heater core .

My heater fan for my 1990 dodge caravan 3.3 litre up front only works when it feels like it,the rear heater fan works well.wondering if its a short in the wiring.did replace the manuel switch that turns it...

Hello purplerobe.
First thing to do if you haven't already is check the fuse in the panel. It's fuse #4 and a 30 amp.
If that's ok you need to go to the blower motor under the dash and check for power on the dark green wire. It may take a little searching, I think these ones are well hidden inside. You will need the key on and blower set on high to do that. A 12 volt test light would be really handy here. If you have power then verify the ground side is grounded. So therefore if you then have power and ground to the motor you then need to replace it.Not an easy task on these model years.
Sure hope it's just a fuse for you.
