Lexmark 8300 series printer

my p c accepted the printer was there and accepted the download then nothing. the error of printer not found and/or not communicating with printer, the good part is the 8300 knew the pc wasn't connecting to it and told me, funny you pay all this money out for a new computer,Vista, a modern ultimate updated program and you have to wait for a driver or buy a new printer, shouldn't this have been thought of by YOU, MICROSOFT EXPERTS, FIRST before releasing VISTA and fixed the glitch. I still like my Old Windows and you want to eliminate that now. Geeeeezzzzzzzzz

hao to instal lexmark 8300 in vista program

I managed to install my lexmark 8300 printer ok and connect to computer which runs xp but although the scanner scans pictures it wont transfer them to my computer. What is the point otherwise. Can someone help. I am also connected to AOL broadband.

i have a lexmark 8300 all in one printer, i have attempted o install it using the software disk provided, that was unsuccessful

i came back to school this semester - after already using the printer on the same computer last semester - and it won't let me print or scan or anything. i've uninstalled and installed all day... Help? It keeps telling me that it's "Encountered an error" and that it can't keep installing the all-in-one...

I have a lexmark 8300 series and I cannot install it
I have repeatedly tried to un-install and then according to the prompts install it again after closing the anti virus but al to no avail, it keeps on telling me that it encountered a problem installing driver software
please see if there is a solution as in the R.S.A. THEY DO NOT COME CHEAP.

pc and printer will not communicate. have downloaded software.productivity suite does not appear when click on icon.

i tried to install the software from the dics but it didn't allow me i turn the antivirus off but still not working

my lexmark 8300 is installed and everything works except the scanner. it used to work untill my computer got fixed. now it doesn't open through "MS scanner and camera wizard". i don't have the installation disk so is there any solution.

Lexmark 8300 all in one printer, cannot install software disk that was provided. Where do I go from here?? At the time you buy this printer it is the best!! Why is it when you get it home- it becomes your problem and there is not one out there that cares about YOUR problem? Maybe it would be wise not to pay cash at the time of purchase or just keep returning your merchandise. This is my 3rd or 4th Lexmark Printer that I have purchased in recent years, unless I get this problem fixed ASAP it will be the last. Thank You

I had an HP pavillion with Windows XP, LEMON, finally, after many trips to the store where I purchased it, and 3X sending it to HP directly. THey tried to give me a re--furbished product, Oh no, I bought a new computer, I expect a new replacement. They reluctantly agreed, and I felt as though I had won a long hard fought battle. They replaced it with a new Pavillion w/Vista. You simply can NOT imagine the JOY I am feeling right about now. I, too, am facing incompatibility issues with EVERY freakin thing, and of course, the bozo's at the stores, "oh yes, this will work, since it came out AFTER VISTA. Where is the non Bu11sh1t line located?

i cannot scan with my lexmark 8300. Also I downloaded the drivers for Vista and the message I get is that its not communicating with my printer. Help.
