Please provide a question. If you feel you're security has been compromised change your locks. If you're renting ask your landlord for permission.

How do I sign out of Chrome

Hi,
Probably your best bet would be to change how YOU get in. Please either remember or write down the password and keep it safe.
Go on to the google icon and right click, from there scroll down to PROPERTIES.
This will get you to INTERNET SECURITY PROPERTIES. On this there is an option that reads "learn about access control and permissions", see if anything there is what you want.
On that page there is an option box saying ADVANCED. From there it takes you to ADVANCED SECURITY PERMISSION.
There will be a drop window on the left. See if anything there is what you want.
Also there is help topics if you click on, LEARN ABOUT ACCESS CONTROL AND PERMISSIONS.
See if anything can be helpful from all of this. It's tough to answer without seeing it or getting a step-bystep account of what happens.
I will tell you to write down anything you add or remove. If for some reason it doesn't work according to what you want, you have a sort of guide to find any problems.
I also found a site that can be helpful. Go to "LachlanRoy.com" it gives a kind of directory that's helpful. (I printed the MAKEUSEOF version of BROWSING CHROME.) So I have quick access for problems.
GOOD LUCK!

You cannot access the data on this computer

It normally happen when you tried to access a file or folder which is saved on any other user which is password protected.

But yes still if you have administrative privileges you can access this file.

For this.

Do a right click on the file and folder and go to propeties.
Then go to security and give permission to "everyone" user after that open the properties once again and give full permission to "everyone".

Router and internet down

Did they have physical access or was it just wifi access.
If they had physical access it's an easy matter to reset the router back to factory settings.
Use your D-Link manual to rest it back as it was with your ISP settings.

I have used Internet many hours, days; without problems. But now, I can not connect anymore. PPP daemon has died = A modem hang up the phone (exit code = 16). Var/log/messages = warning: secret file...

your password file (papsecrets) has been given access to users outside your login.
This means someone could potentially hack your connection by gaining access to your papsecrets file.

User permissions for papsecrets needs to be reset to you only, and no global/group access should be allowed. Note: it is a hidden file but is in folder /etc/ppp/papsecrets

Restore the original permissions with:
# chmod a-rw /etc/ppp/papsecrets
# chmod u+rw /etc/ppp/papsecrets

Basically your operating system is defending you from sharing your internet passwords with the world.
