Question about Karcher Garden

Open Question

I have a karcher k 5.200 with a seized bearing, it's the end bearing I have stripped the motor off and the motor has a metal jacket around it, how can I get the jacket off to remove the bearing,

The motor appears to be a sealed unit, can the jacket be removed?

SOURCE: karcher g2500vh..sheared off spill valve

I've seen that before many times. If you have removed all the broken parts you can purchace a new spill valve, grease it and install it. If not, you need to remove the pump and sit it brass side up before removing the bolts holding the brass to the aluminum part (you have to do it that way so the oil doesn't spill out. CAUTION: there is some spring tension on the brass head.), find the other pieces of the spill valve, then put it back together. Then you can buy a new spill valve and install it. there are several on-line companys that sell spill valves for karcher machines, but most of then you would need to call to get the part number and price. I'll help you out by giving you the part number.

Part #4.591-040.0

If this helped please rate it.

Testimonial: "Thanks Bill, It is disappointing that this has occured "many times". That indicates poor design, manufacture, etc. I'll install a new valve."

SOURCE: I need a bearing that

Bearings are standard, If you can remove the bearing, take it to any bearing supplier and they will give you the requires bearing. Specify that you want a 2RS bearing, one that has rubber seals on both sides of the race if the original one was not like this. (Look for signs like SKF, Fafnir, Timken, etc. There are also numerous Japanese and Chinese makes, but in a wet application, rather go for one of the others mentioned).

Use a Teflon based grease. Contact an auto parts store to buy it. The grease is usually colored blue.

Model hpw2201. How do I fix an oil leak?

Don't know this model intimately but it looks similar to the Karcher which is really total **** nowadays as its all made of plastic. The motor has a weird switch mechanism but if it tries to run and the motor doesn't then 100:1 the motor is seized. Very unlikely it's the actual motor but the pump is a "swash" plate that opens 3 stainless steel thin flat valves. the bearing that the pump shaft goes through is a phospher-bronze plain bush with a seal each side and if this has dried out then you are screwed. Same if you model has steel roller bearings. However, if it does run and build up pressure and it stops because the output pressure is too high then the overload pressure switch is faulty. If it is the Karcher type then again you are stuffed but if it is similar to the Nilfisk then a replacement is available for around £100 GB Pounds - probably cheaper to buy a new one.

Canon ir 6570 error code 14

Hi. This error code means that the fixing unit motor is unable to turn, it could be just a paper jam, or the bearings have seized, either way you will have to strip down the fixing unit, it is very common on this model for the lower roller bearings to seize. Good luck

Needs Service code 136

136. (10001000) Motor Stall
The Motor Control Module has been unable to start the motor. Possible causes of this fault
are: Faulty motor harness, faulty or jammed motor, seized bearings or seals, faulty Motor
Control Module, faulty Rotor Position Sensor or harness.
Primary Source: Wiring.
Action: Measure/check the motor harness, connectors and motor for
discontinuity. This can be done by taking a resistance measurement
between phases of the motor harness at the Motor Control Module
end. Nominal resistance should be around 32Ohms.
Secondary Source: Motor.
Action: 1) Check free rotation of the agitator and basket by rotating by hand.
Bearings and seals may be seized.
2) Check the Rotor Position Sensor and associated harness for
water, mechanical damage or corrosion.
Tertiary Source: Motor Control Module.
Action: If the primary and secondary checks pass inspection, then replace
the Motor Control Module.

With the cylinder still off, your connecting rod should move left to right a little, but not up and down. Be careful doing this to hold the crank to check for rod bearing wear. Also, see how the crank turns, the two main bearings for the crank need to be smooth to the feel.

How to replace Simplicity vac brush roll strips?

The caps will come out of the end of the metal roller. They can be difficult if it's been a long time as dirt and grime can build up. Try sticking a flat head screwdriver in and gently twisting to get the caps to slide out.
