Matsui dishwasher stuck on 2nd light flashing

Hi, I had same problem with my Samsung dishwasher. Myine would start flashing about 45 seconds after the cycle started. Check under the sink for flexible hose that runs from the bottom of the dishwasher to the sink drain (mine actually runs into the disposal). Be sure there are no severe " kinks" or bends in the hose or anything that might impede the water flow. I straightened my hose as much as possible and "jiggled" it a bit and it began working ok. I haad the same problem again a few months later and jiggled/shook again and works ok since. There could be a partial blockage from food debris, etc. in the hose. Good luck.

ESSENTIALS CDW60W10 the 2nd light is flashing then it flashes and bleep for about a minute before the machine stops...I cant find my user manual anywhere..need my dishwasher working with my family!!! plz help!!! :(

The manual is in English. Please ignore the Japanese text on the cover. Unfortunately, it's unlikely having the manual will help you identify the cause of the fault.

I'm assuming the flashing light you are referring to is numbered 1 in the control panel diagram on page 2 (the 5th page of the PDF manual). This light simply indicates the dishwasher is in the pre-rinse stage of the wash cycle. Your description suggests the solenoid has failed, so the water inlet valve isn't opening and no water is entering the dishwasher.

I only repair Matsui washers on call-out as they are a Dixon's Stores Group (DSG) only brand in the UK, so I don't see that many of them and can't get service manuals. I can diagnose and fix them when they're in front of me, but I couldn't tell you from memory how to get access to the components and test them.

Where did you find the sequence to clear the flashing clean light?

I finally decided to calm down and use my head and managed to solve the problem. I read the instructions that are on the top of the dishwasher door. ( Smart move on my part HUH!) It said that when the door lock light is on everything is disabled. Hold the air/dry button down for 4 seconds and the lock light will go out. Guess what, IT WORKED. Here is what I learned from this. Always read all instructions. I spent $9.95 for an answer that was right in front of me. Humans can be so dumb I am!!!!

Unplug the cable and wait for about 15min. and then plug in cable back and turn on.

It can also be that the pressure is too week. If you look a tthe manual it mentions this exact symptom. I know because i ve a similar issue. cheers
