Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
New users get to try the service completely Free afterwhich it costs $6 per call and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

How do I change my email address ?

1 -Simply set up a new email address on gmail or any other provider.
2 - In Outlook, log onto your old email address.
3 - Create a message rule to forward all messages received in your old email address Inbox to your new email address. To do this go to the Message heading and select "Create Rule From Message".
4 - Remember to inform everybody that your email address has changed. The easiest way to do this is to have an auto-reply from your old email address that informs message senders of the details of your new email address.
5 - If you think some people may send emails to your old email address in the distant future, you may want to log into your old email from time to time to ensure that it is not deleted due to inactivity.
6 - You can also post your new details on Facebook or any other social media platforms if you wish.

Hi My email account was hacked and due to the fact I didn't use it often I have not been able to provide enough security information to get it back and have therefore set up a new account Is there anyway...

Hi Lauren
You may need to go to the website of your accounts if you use or pay them online and modify your Account Profile Settings and update or edit your old email to new email.

If you don't have online account you really should call bank/phone company, etc and tell them your new info or yes they will be sending email to old address and you will not see it.

That is the most efficient way so you do not miss something important from the bank.

Other then getting everyone's email addresses and mailing out 1 email to all of them telling them your new email...but new email account won't have old address.

Changing e-mail address

The act of changing your email address is simple.
However, you can save yourself a lot of headaches by doing some planning before you begin.

Just as with changing your home address, one of the main challenges with changing your email address is making sure that you do not loose any important contacts.

Another challenge to is avoiding bringing your old spam contacts with you.
A third challenge is to find an email address that fits your needs.

Gather your contacts into a single list.
Remember, that you probably have a lot more contacts than just the ones currently set up on your "favorite contacts" list on your email account.

Spend some time going through you email history and identify older contacts that you may not have used in a while, but which you do not want to loose.

Think about your needs before setting up a new email account. Think about the kinds of attachments you like to send?

Do you need higher capacity?
Also think about what kind of interface your prefer.
Some prefer a simple, bare-bones interface, while others prepher something more elaborate.

Ask yourself if the address itself is important to you.
Some people are quite picky about this.

Ask yourself what you dislike about your current service.
This will help you to better pinpoint what you desire from your new service.

Check out your options.
There are a lot of free web-based email services out there.

These are great for some purposes, but if you need really high capacity, or require greater security, then you might want to look for a different type of service that you will need to pay for.

Read the privacy policy carefully of any email service you are considering.
Make sure you are not making any commitments you are uncomfortable with.

Test your new address.
Once you set up you new address, have a few close friend email you regularly for a few days to make sure it is really what you want before informing all you contacts.

Send out a single mass-mailing to all your contacts, once you have established your new address, and tested it.
Be careful to weed out all the spammers before you do this.

Keep your old email address active for a while after establishing your new address.
How long you need to do this depends upon how much email traffic you have.

The more traffic, and the more contacts you have, the longer you should keep your address active.
Generally speaking, your should plan to wait at least one month before abandoning you old address.

In some cases, you may want to keep checking it for several months.

Had new windows xp installed, now cant get my old email addess back.

When you installed Windows XP you wipe out all your old data and start afresh all over again.
You should have exported your email address book and saved it to an external storage device and then installed Windows and your email program. Then import your address book into your email program to restore your address book.

There is something going on where all my contacts on yahoo are getting email that looks like it came from me. and i can't stop it

The easiest solution may be for you to sign up for a new email account and then contact all of your friends to make them aware of your new email address and to advise them to block your old address.

You may need to keep checking your old address so that you don't miss any important emails from anyone else not on your contact list. If and when you do receive any important emails at the old address from important sources other than you contact list, you should immediately contact them too and advise them to switch to your new address and to block your old one.

This solution won't fix things overnight but it might be the best way to prevent all your contacts from ignoring your emails. Worse still, if your contacts open any malicious emails from your "alter ego" because they trust that they've been sent by the real you, this could then cause them similar problems and the whole process may need to start again.

Would you kindly rate my answer please if this has helped resolve the problem - thanks :)

I can't access my old email address that my account is under but i do have a new email address

You've most likely forgotten your username or password. It is advisable that you keep these in a safe place to avoid this. If it is a yahoo address, you can contact customer care and identify yourself and answer their secret questions. They will reactivate it for you. However you can open a yahoo address and a gmail address. You can then import your yahoo into your gmail address and use the notebook of yahoo to store your username and pasword securely
