Question about KitchenAid Dishwashers
Dish washer model KUDS01ILBS2 starts normally then in wash cycle the control panel makes a buzzing noise and will not progress out of the wash cycle. Canceled and used 2 minute cycle to empty dish washer. Ran diagnostics everything was normal until test interval 2 and 1 when the Sensing/soaking LED came on. If I am reading the diagnostic chart correctly that means a bad Pressure Switch if it comes on in interval 3 but what does it mean in interval 1 & 2? What are likely causes of the buzzing control panel - this is not a normal noise? Thanks for your help.

SOURCE: My bosch dish washer won't
Welcome to fixya.
You said, Your Bosch dish washer won't work. A number 1 is displayed on the electronic panel.
If it is displaying"01" then that means the extra dry setting is being applied!
Did you try to use the extra Dry setting?
Did the dishwasher work before this or is it brand new?
What is the model number and year?
Let me know ! I'm waiting for your response
Below is and example of the usage of 01 or 00 in a Bosch Dishwasher!
Extra Dry Heat
With this option you can raise the temperature of the rinse water and increase the drying
time which will result in improved drying.
To activate :
Press and hold the left cancel drain button ,
Then press and hold the on/off button when the LED display shows a, "00" or a "01"
To enable the additional drying heat, press the left cancel drain button until the LED display shows a "01"
To disable the additional drying heat, press the left cancel drain button until the LED display shows a "00"
press the on/off button to save the settings.

I have a very similar dishwasher, with a very similar problem. I fixed it by removing debris from the water evacuator pump located towards the front of the bottom of the machine (the last motor before the drain hose. In my case, grape stems had clogged it up. Once emptied, it purrs once again. NOTE: don't disassemble the motor, just flush it out, there is an o-ring gasket that is a bear to re-install.
