Us polo watches instructions

U.S. Polo watch model# USC50013A cream colored analog dial. This watch has two small dials. One for month and one for date. Are these simply decoration or are they functional? ( I can't seem to adjust them ). Thank you for your time, Tim

SOURCE: adjusting Date and day on a Festina 3 dial watch

Alhamdulillah, the problem solved (at last) tks to IRONMAN (http://www.fixya.com/support/t579677-instructions_mens_festina_watch_16095#SameProblemContinued)

The steps are like this :
1. Pull the crown full, and turn it clockwise until you find the right day.
2. and then push it one click (dont push it to hard so it back to normal position) and turn the crown counter clockwise to adjust date.
3. Push the small button near the crown to adjust month.

and voila... the problem solved

SOURCE: cant se time Citizen 8988-q02047 HSB wristwatch

In the time mode, press the upper right button for 2 seconds and the time display will flash. Then press the same button untill the entire time will flash, or both hour and minutes flash at same time. When the hour and minutes flash at same time, this adjust mode is the adjusting of the analog left display (A1). Now, press the lower button for adjusting de hour shown at the digital display that shows the same hour at analog display. This method is to adjusting the 8982 that is the "father" of 8988. Like a Citizen collector, and don´t know any website that you can view the setting instruction of 8988, only the 8982 is disposable here: http://www.citizenwatch.com/downloads/techguides/8982.pdf

The watch as four buttons plus the main button the bevel rotates but how does it work, the watch itself keeps good time but the small dials do not move.

Usually this depends on the watch which you are referring to. Some watches just have the small dials as designs. What is the exact make and model of the watch? This will help me to determine if the dials are just meant for designs or not.
But the dials usually are meant for three things, the first which usually has 7 points indicate days of the week, second which has 30 points for the month and finally a third which has 60 points for seconds of a stopwatch.
Let me know the make and model to be able to diagnose the problem better.
Hope this solution has been helpful?

Watch band adjustment for polo club watch

There are small holes at the side of some of the links. You need to push out the small needles or pins in these holes in the direction of the arrows that are marked on the links.

You can use a sewing needle to do that (a blunt one, or break the tip).

When the small pins are pushed out, the links can be detached.

    Hope that helps
