SOURCE: Bugaboo Hand Brake

the only way is to call directly to bugaboo because these are inner problems that have to be fixed (if it can) if the stroller is more then 2 years old you might have to go to your nearst retailer and order a new chasis for i it (there around 100.00 to 200 dollars. if you need the exact amount let me now and I can get it for you tomorrow the number for bugaboo is 1-800-460-2922 good luck

SOURCE: Main Chassis bar won't lock on one side

We had a similar problem, the right-hand hinge of the frame would not lock and the button was permanently down. What had happened was the handle extension switch housing had come unscrewed and slipped up the frame, causing a small spring to fall out. The lock switches each have a spring which pushes down on a rod inside the frame to lock the hinge. To access the spring, unscrew the handle extension housing and slide it up the aluminum frame. I replaced the missing spring and the frame works perfectly. If the problem is with the spring, this should work. Alternatively the problem may lie inside the lock switch housing, which contains a very simple mechanism which slides the lock rod up and down. This can be unscrewed as well. As far as I can tell, the actual hinge assembly itself is a sealed unit and can't be opened, but hopefully, you won't have to.
Good luck,
Ben

To lock the front wheel there is a small black button that can be twisted. It is very stiff on my buggy but if you fiddle with it while the wheel is straight it will lock it.

Lots of shaking from side to side.

Could be a bad tire ( or bent rim Have balance checked), ball joint, idler arm, wheel bearing, steering tie rod end or defective rack and pinion unit. Lift vehicle about 1 inch off ground ( do each side independently) Use a pry bar and pry from ground up and down on wheel. Much play? bad ball joint. With both hands, try to move wheel side to side. Much play? could be a tie rod end or bad wheel bearing. Visually check play of steering arm into rack and pinion unit, more than about a half inch play, bad rack and pinion unit. Try to move back and forth with hands top and bottom. Much play? Bad ball joint or wheel bearing, verify visually that it is ball joint moving, else it is the wheel bearing. Manually check for play in each joint in steering control rods from steering knuckle all the way through each rod where there is a joint. Replace the one you find excessive play in. Check mounting studs for sway bar for loose fit, deteriorated rubber bushings or a crack / break in the sway bar. Replace if needed. That's about all I can think of unless it only happens when applying brakes, in which case it could be a warped rotor.

Easy fix is take to local repair person, but barring that you will need to look to replace the little knob so that it tightens down and grabs the larger knob. Sometime you'll need to try to place it on the machine a few different ways till it works right.

The little knob is used to disenage the machine for winding a bobbin. Add little bit of machine oil to help keep it loose.

2000 caravan drivers side rotor wears out told tie-rod true or no

Look behind front wheel for rod that attaches to spindle/knuckle, and moves your wheel back & forth from steering rack. The tie rod (outer) is the piece attached on the end, that is threaded on that rod, and attaches to the spindle/knuckle, behind the wheel. Grab your tire and try to wiggle it hard from side to side. (hands at 3 & 9 o'clock ) Push with one hand while pulling with the other. If there is slop, or play, you have probably got a bad tie rod end, which you can observe it move by looking at where it attaches, while someone else wiggles it. If the repair is going to cost more that half the value of the vehicle, it is not worth it. In this case, I'd don't think this is worth the cost
