Question about Maytag MFI2269VEW 22.0 Cu. Ft. French-Door Refrigerator With Dispenser
My ice maker does not make any ice. i watched some videos, and one of the common problems are the water valve. now, all the videos i found, saying the water valve are on the back of the fridge, but there are no valves at all. do you know were the valve is located?
They are usually located behind the compressor compartment panel. remove the panel and follow the water line you should see the water valve. If there is a water filter in your unit these can plug up ,and cause no water to enter the icemaker. I alo have had bad icemakers.

SOURCE: Maytag Icemaker freezing up
Possibly a bad valve but more likely not enough water coming to the unit, follow the water line from the back of the unit to where it hooks to the pipes there is usually a little saddle valve there, try closing it all the way and then open it back up check the water through the door and see if the pressure doesn't improve.
You can also remove the Ice maker clear out the fill tube and sit a cup under the end of it for a day or two if you get water in the cup and Ice in the tube you probably have a solenoid valve that isn't closing completely.

The normal operation is for the ice maker to harvest a batch of cubes, and then just before competing it's cycle, to open the valve to add more water for 7 seconds then shut off smartly.
At least 50% of water valve problems cause an overfill problem, because of internal wear etc. that does not let the valve close on time. This causes an overflow problem to the ice maker, and all the problems you described.
It should be corrected as soon as possible, since they have been known to throttle open and never close. Should it be overnight or while away, the damage can become quite serious.
