Sometimes there is a latch underneath which can open the cash draw. If not, you will have to take all of the screws out of the bottom and disassemble the draw.

Cash draw wont close casio electronic cash register 160cr-b

Most common reason is the plastic pin that holds the latch in the back of the drawer has come out. You can usually press it back in to fix it. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Cash draw wont close casio electronic cash register 160cr-b

The latch is probably broken or disassembled in the back of the drawer. Also, make sure the trigger between the back two feet is not sitting on anything that might be pressing it.
