How can i connect my tablet to wifi without a house that dos not have Internet access in county wexford ireland.

Are you trying to just connect to wifi to access a local network or are you trying to access the internet? If you just want to connect to a local network, maybe to access other devices on the network, you would need a router broadcasting the network that all the devices connect to. If you are only trying to get access to the internet, consider purchasing a hot spot device. It will provide cellular type service and will broadcast a wifi signal that you can connect your tablet or other devices to for internet access. Hot spots will cost you a monthly fee for the service and you will have to purchase the device itself. Another possibility is to use your cell phone as a hot spot and tether the tablet to it. Just remember whatever data you use on your tablet will be charged to your data plan on your cell phone. On my nexus 5x phone, it's fairly easy to turn on (settings, under wireless and networks select more, select tethering and portable hotspot, turn on portable wifi hotspot, set a password if you want to). Once turned on, the phone will broadcast a signal that you can connect other devices to for internet access. Some cellular providers don't allow tethering. If that is the case with yours there are some apps that will still allow you to set up tethering such as AndroidTethering or Easy Tether. In the past, I've had some trouble connecting wirelessly using the apps and found that using USB tether options worked better for me.

I am getting a ER05 Msg on my Samsug S5 in Europe. The phone was uncloced to be used in europe. Everything works fine (I think) but Im getting this message

Most likely you have WiFi calling enabled, and the local provider SIM doesn't support it. Turn off WiFi calling, and you should stop getting the ER05 message:

1. While you are in Settings, swipe to Network Connections.
2. Hit More networks.
3. Slide the Wi-Fi Calling Switch to OFF mode.

How do I get my Samsung Android phone to connect to my local wifi network

the button will remain greyed out until 8 characters are typed in. My guess is that your WPA2 password is not long enough. once 8 characters are loaded you will be able to 'JOIN' the network.

I can't connect to WiFi. Any advice?

Is the wifi enabled, can you see any wifi networks? If not, make sure wifi is enabled, if there is button on laptop to disable/enable wifi connections, swich wifi on.

Check from control panel -> network (network and sharing center in Vista/Win7) -> change adapter settings. If wireless lan adapter disabled (grayed out).

Can't connect to wifi

Step 1Ensure the Wi-Fi and Low Power button located on the top of the device is not in the Off position. This will completely shut off your Wi-Fi adaptor and prevent you from connecting to the network.

Step 2Press the power button on the left side of the device and allow the Pandigital Novel to detect local network connections. If you can't find a local connection, you may be out of range and should move closer to the wireless router until the device detects the network.

Step 3Tap the name of the Wi-Fi network from the provided connection list. If the network has a lock icon next to the name, this means you will need the network security password to log in.

Step 4Enter the security password if prompted, and then tap "Connect."

Step 5Tap the "Next" button to reconnect to the Wi-Fi connection.

Step 6Tap the "Web" button from the main menu if you are attempting to connect to a public hotspot. This will launch the Web browser where you can enter any log in information required to obtain an Internet connection at the hot spot.

When power goes out Wifi will not connect to laptop

You'll need to find a way to power the wireless extender during times that the power is out. Keep in mind, doing so will only allow you to connect to other battery powered devices that connect to your powered network hardware. This includes, but is not limited to the cable or dsl modem and the router that presumably is used to to provide the network connection to your wireless range extender. This could mean that you're only going to connect to LOCAL AREA devices; not the WIDE AREA devices (the internet). Even with the hardware in your area powered by batteries, it is possible that your ISP is unable to provide internet access to you due to network failure, etc.

If you still want to try, you can power your network hardware with UPS hardware that can provide as little as power to allow for orderly shut down during a power failure - to one that can provide power for significantly longer times - depending on the size and number of equipment you want to connect.

I hope this helps.
