z60...it may be an issue with the motherboard. Easiest way to find out...remove the card and battery. Let the camera sit overnight. Before placing the card and battery back in it....press the power button and hold it down for 15 seconds. Release it...put battery and card back in. If that doesn't fix it...you have serious problems.

My Lumix DMC-F288 telephoto moves on its own accord when I start to focus.When I press the lever to scroll to the right position it continues to move on to the end of the possible distance range. I can't stop it where I desire.
