Question about Computers & Internet
Deep freeze? Is your operating system froze or locked up? That could be several things, ram, a hidden program running in the background, malware or spyware. Have you shut the system down? Not a restart but a complete shut down. Then try restarting. If it won't shut down itself, push and hold the power button for 4 seconds until it' off. Wait about 3 or 4 seconds for the hard drive to stop, then restart.

Well deep-freeze interesting app, since it runs at the kernel low level, has 3 drivers dependencies that cannot be remove by force or it will render windows completely useless. also the app will still run under safe mode and using other booteable cd's to remove it is a really bad idea. Now there is only 3 things to do
1- reinstall the OS
2- find a software that will crack/mess with deepfreeze
3- uninstall the app if you know the password
4- I wrote a software years ago that uses Win-PE and will allow you to replace the deep-free config file with another one that has not password on it.
Now the software is no longer published online, if you want a copy send me a private.
