Question about Voyetra Turtle Beach Ear Force X1 Headset

Problems with a turtle beach x1.

Last night, i was playing my xbox360 and all of a sudden the sound stopped working. i thought maybe i pulled the plug out or turned the sound down or something like that, but i checked both of those things and nothing happend. i then unplugged my turtle beach and turned off my tv and my xbox360 to see if maybe it was something in one of those. after checking it still had no sound. i tried everything to fix it and i sent a e-mail to turtlebeach.com tech support but they havnt answered me back yet. can u please help me?

Reset the phone:

It sounds to me like you lost the computer power supply. They cam be purchased at a Best Buy or on Ebay. Make sure you get one with the corredt connections. Draw a diagram of where everything plugs into prior to disconnecting it, and take it along with you. Hope this helps.

Turned itself off. I turned it back on and power button blinks green for a few seconds then blinks red continuously. red light by card reader blinks red about every five seconds. No picture, no sound.


unplug it from power source completely 15 minutes then plug back in with NOTHING plugged into any of the ports. If it boots back up then does it again later it make be something plugged into a port causing power to back feed into the boards. I had this same issue on my plasma last year ended up being the xbox360. After this if it still wont power then your power board maybe bad.

You need to give symptoms. For example, "I turn the starter motor, engine turns, but it won't start, and I smell gasoline odor." Diagnosis, you're giving too much throttle, the spark plugs become wet & saturated, so it won't start until the spark plugs are dry.
So do you mean it was running, and suddenly stopped in traffic, it was parked overnight and starter motor refuses to turn, or starter motor turns, but refuses to start ?? We need SPECIFIC symptoms if you want diagnostic feedback from this website.
You said "cars" in plural, so two or more cars all broke down at the same time? Maybe you have enemies or someone who wants retribution payback for an argument in recent past, so he sabotaged all your cars? Like in the last 3 or 4 days, or last night? When people are fuming, they exact retribution shortly. The more time goes by, they cool down and decide not to take revenge.

The sound on my TV has suddenly stopped working


check all wires are firmly in place, especially the scart lead, and just give them a little push to make sure, if that doesnt work, try unplugging your tv from the mains and wait 5 mins, plug it back in, wait another 5 mins, and turn on, if that doesnt work, contact the company's customer service line.

My Turtle Beach X1 headset stopped working all of the sudden


A very similar problem occured with my headphones too, short of contacting turtle beach there is little else you can do to solve this. The main problem is the wire that connects the little white sound box to the controller(commonly called the puck) the end of the wire that connects to the white volume controll box is the problem for me, the wires are really **** weak in this end. i just stripped mine down so im gonna resolve this issue and il re-post the solution to my problem here. i hope this helps you out.

My turtle beach problem is that i hear no sound at all i cant hear chatting or the game audio


With the X1 plugged in, look at the white volume control box (on the main cable about a foot down from the headset). Is the LED on that box lit up green or red? If yes, then it's got power. If not, then the headset is defective and you should contact Turtle Beach about it. support@turtlebeach.com.
If the light is lit, then you might want to try testing the X1 with an iPod or other portable music player that has a 1/8" (3.5mm) headphone jack.
- Plug the X1 USB plug into a USB port on a PC, Xbox or whatever. - Plug the X1 green plug into the headphone jack on your player. - Turn the volume up about 1/2 way on the player and on the X1. - Play a track on the player.
Do you hear sound? If so, your X1 is OK, but you may need to adjust settings on your Xbox. If not, then you have a problem with the X1 and you should contact Turtle Beach about getting it replaced or fixed. support@turtlebeach.com.
