Question about Uniden DCT5285-2 Cordless Phone
My second handset when talking to someone it fades in and out till you cant hardly hear the person on the onther end.
the volume is turned up high.
depening on your location if you have no interuption from other freqency from other leaking environment you r hanset may have a manufacture sorftware or hardware problems if you try another hand set wiht same problem posible a decfive ..

try cleaning the mic' without openning the phone -
from the outside by an old touth brush...
that will do the trick
if you can open the screws without any damage
than pull out the mic's cover
it is probebly full of moist

Welcome to Fixya
There are four ringer volume settings for this phone (off, low, medium and high). With the phone on standby. Press the UP arrow te make the ringer volume louder. Press DOWN arrow to make is softer. If you want to adjust the earpiece volume, while on call, press UP and DOWN arrow to select the volume that you want.
